LOLZ... Up to this point we had been able to have a 'meeting of the minds' as to the talent, ability, presence, improvements of Marty as a performer and vocalist... She would often make comments that reflected her appreciation for Marty's ability to hit and maintain a note with clarity and without strain... I now have a new perspective as to her comments... I think she was actually envisioning Marty's performance at this point and time... thinking of how he looked... how intense he was... uh-huh... It slipped today... "awe... he's got dreamboats for eyes... " I can't keep up... <didn't say I couldn't keep it up...>

Awwwww, sweetie. Don't feel bad. You're making me . I saw you on another thread, and it made me so happy to see that the was some male energy out there. So glad you are on this board, so don't go away just because your wife has fallen under the spell. She can't help it! We are lovers of all things in Hammerland (and of course that includes Marty). But there is still plenty of loving left for our hubbies ;D. Besides, you can't tell me you're not thinking of....say maybe, Angelina Jolie...from time to time.

I'm glad you're here too, maybe you can convince my husband this is all okay! I told him tonight that there are men in the fan club too.... not just ultra crazed women like myself!

Yeah good to see a man on here. My hubby likes (or should that be appreciates) Marty, he has a CD in his car, he is struggling a bit with Lovehammers but he will get there with lots of encouragement. He is not phased by the fact that I am booking flights to the US to see Marty / Lovehammers on the INXS tour at great expense!

My hubby gets a kick from my obsession, he says it's about time. It puts me on message boards instead of out shopping!!!! ;D

gdm3, Just give her a kiss, tell her you understand, and that whenever she starts feeling she might explode because of it, that you are ready, able, and more than willing to help her out with her little problem!!! That's what a smart hubby will do! Life can be hard and soul-draining. If a little crush helps put the spark back into people's love lives, it's a positive thing.

My husband likes Marty too, though he isn't one to go to web sites and message boards. He is just glad that I am excited about something and it is something he can actually enjoy too. It can't be a bad thing to find something that makes you feel happy and excited amid all the other pressures and stress of everyday life. Tammy

hahaha gdm3! My hubby is the one that told me the show was on, (knowing that I was a former fan of INXS) I dont typically watch t.v. but I sat down with him on the first night, and I was hooked. This of course was thanks to M.C.
My husband has a great respect for Marty, liked him and Mig on the show, but now sometimes mentions that he somewhat regrets getting me interested. But although my Hubby is grousing a bit about me going to see the Lovehammers in concert, he is happily taking up the slack in regards to my spike in libido since my M.C. obsession began!
