I know my Mom is 85 and has alzheimers it is really tuff to see here go down hill fom a very neatly dressed perfumed makeuped Mom to a ..........basically a mess clothes don't match she dressed inapropriatly for the weather no makeup and can't get her into the shower..........and no more perfume........there was always a Mom smell she had a special smell everything had a flowery smell now I don't even want to go in her room.it is kaos.........  :'(the Mom I new is missing I get it totally- My sis and I look at each other sometimes and ask--who is this woman and what have they done with our mom? My sis is back in Illinois and bless her takes much more of the responsibility for mom than I do. There is always guilt about not doing enough or visiting enough etc. ahh CJ I'm so sorry...I know exactly what you're going through...went through it with my Grandma & now my other Grandma... |

Okay I've depressed myself enough tonight. Did I tell you I got a couple of good f****s from Mr. MC last night? I hope you mean eye f***k's I did mean Eye f's --don't start any rumors about anything else. They would be lies! I should stop typing and get some work done! but it is too much fun being in here! |

gooooood eeeeeeeeeeevening!! omg Lisa you are such a doll...I totally get what you are talking about! I think about that all the time...my 80's obsession was Duran Duran/John Taylor...growing up I was like I MUST meet them! & although I did in the late 90's, it was NOTHING like hanging w/ the LH, getting to know them, etc...I mean I doubt I'll be invited to a family BBQ any time soon, but you're right - their accessability & genuine interest in whatever their fans are saying to them is just too cool. I have to pinch myself sometimes thinking OMG, how lucky I've been! but then again I don't really believe in luck. lol I think I should write a book... the Lovehammers: One Mad Fan-Girl's Journey Around the World... LOL  Jodie I don't know you but I think you are great and if anyone ever had a chance of getting closer to the LH especially Marty and becoming like family....it would be you! I think the only reason you wouldn't get a Christmas card this year would be because they haven't received your address...lol you must give them your address...leave a note for yourself so you don't forget.  |

Going back to the first picture jodie just posted as exhibit A. Marty said that he wore two belts to help keep his pants up. I scoff at his statement that he thought belt #2 was going to keep his pants up. There is no way a belt slug that low on his hips was going to do that--and he knew it. He just loves to pretend that "gee I don't know what to do--my pants keep falling down!" He's a smart man--if he didn't want them to fall down--he's wear something else! Don't change a thing Marty--we love you--but we are on to you babe! ;D |
