The door shut, but Fly heard no footsteps from whoever came in. She inwardly sighed, but kept typing, taking drinks from her bottle between paragraphs. Suddenly, a hand took her bottle off the desk. "That's quite enough," a voice said. "You'll be too drunk to talk to Bobby if you keep at it at this rate." Sulking in the Lounge, Ayesa paced back and forth, her head still ringing from her tirade earlier. "f**k, f**k, f**k!" she muttered, "I should've brought a broken bottle with me, shown him what's what." Every so often, someone would pass through the Lounge, but no one was brave (or stupid) enough to try and talk to her. Clever people. Fly looked up at DG. "Hey, I'm just checking up on you all before I leave for good." DG capped the bottle. "It looks like Marty and A got Bobby out of his room for now. He'll make his way down here after he eats. Don't let him know I was here, all right?" "All right." DG swept her up in a tight hug. "Take care of Bobby, all right?" "Okay. Talk to Ayesa before you leave, please. And Doc." "I'll try. See you later." DG slipped out as quietly as she came, and Fly smiled, sitting back down to her computer. |

Love--DG" Smiling a little, Ayesa tucked the note into a drawer in her file cabinet before sinking down onto her sofa. Making a face, she reached down under the cushion and pulled out a tape recorder. The hell?! she thought. "Ah well, maybe at least Bobby and Fly are getting back together..." she shook her head and glanced at a small picture adorning her desk, "Feh, what do I care?" Pressing a button on her intercom, she called the kitchen, "Hullo? Anyone in the kitchen? If there's anyone in there, please deliver a Mountain Dew to Ayesa's office ASAP." |
