Piece of cake sweety. Don't be nervous. It's a great city with a pulse of it's own. What airport are you flying into? LaGuardia what time are ya coming in I could pick you up I am coming from Long Island I'm doing the same thing tomorrow I'm kpicking someone up at laguardia and then heading to jersey?  |

RF: are you traveling alone? Are you staying in NY the whole time? I would not travel there alone since I've never been there. Hubby knows the city well cuz he goes there alot on business. I am going to HamJam by myself. |

I know you will have a great time. We'll be here Tuesday night thinking of you! I had a ticket for that show. But common sense and budget overruled. I gave it to Diva and told her to give it to someone in NY to create a new fan! That's a very generous ST item. Sorry you can't make it. I am too. But when I looked at cancelling three days of clients, airfare, hotel and meals. It became a little too pricy. The ticket was only $25 with all the fees. Hopefully Jodie and Diva will find someone cool to share it with. Who knows maybe it will end up in their blog! |

I am going to HamJam by myself. You'll be fine than. Nothing to worry about. Just be aware of your souroundings and don't look too much like a tourist. In other words don't walk slow and look up at the buildings (dead give away). I worked in the city for ten years back when I was a young thing and fit and trim I used to take the subway late at night by myself and never felt unsafe. It's NY - somone is always around. |

I was living in Kansas City at the time and I was like 24 and the people I worked with had me so terrified with all their instructions about how to act in the city. I laugh now at how scared I was. I've traveled there a lot on business and love the city! Yes it is fast paced but I actually have found NYers to be very helpful.  the city and wish I were going to be there on Tuesday. |

I spent a lot of time in ny for business before 9/11. My next step in the company would have been to move there................................wasn't meant to be. I like being here with my family!
