Nothing really exciting happened. I thanked Marty for calling my video wicked, and he said that he really liked it. The security guy (a World Cafe worker) was making everyone move on quickly so I was flustered, but luckily Jodie and a hammer hubby were yelling for a picture so he had no choice but to let us take it. Jodie and Diva went behind the tables for their pictures. They are really pros at this stuff!

I hate those pushy security people! Glad you got some pics! Yeah, Jodie and Diva ought to be pros by now. (actually I went behind the tables at the Pearl Room without even realizing it and got my photos.  ) mta: Okay I don't hate those people. I know they are necessary. |

I think I finally have my hearing all the way back today. I don't see how people are doing 3-4 shows in a row. I would be deaf for sure. We were in the very front on Billy's end, and some hammer husbands created a buffer zone around us so we wouldn't get squished.

The opening band was good and very cute. I'm sure they were excited about having such a large crowd. They had one guy who was really shouting for them that they called their posse of one. I bought their CD and had them sign it. The LH let them have their meet and greet right next to them. How many other headlining bands would do that?
