Can any one help with the lyrics to "In to the Deep End", I can't figure out the part with the fingerprints... "Fingerprints on the ?has been?" I dunno, sounds like that to me, however, makes no sense! Thanx! Thats exactly what it sounds like to me, too. If the song is about a crime scene then maybe the has been is a suspect

Okay here is "Into the Deep End". If you see mistakes or can help with the question marks, let me know.
Also, don't compare these lyrics too closely to the live version on the DVD because they are arranged differently.
"Into the Deep End"
At the Seashore Down at the Waterline Find an Exit Down Near the Timberline (Fate ?) Is Cast Take My Hand Take A Trip Out Through To the Other Side
It's a Mud Stain On My End Again There's a Fingerprint On a Has Been
She Will Never Go On And She Will Never Soar (Hereafter?)
Freefall My Way Through Time Is It All My Steel Mind Moving Fast Trap's Intact What's Going On What Is Happening
It's a Mud Stain Now All Over Me Now Understand What's Happening
She Will Never Go On And She Will Never Soar Will Never Soar Hereafter
And She Will Never Soar And She Will Never Soar Will Never Soar Hereafter
Come With Me Into the Deep End I Am You And You are Me Losing You Would Be My Own Personal Tragedy
Come With Me Into the Deep End (Repeats) Come With Me!
It's a Mud Stain On the Windowpane Here's a Fingerprint on the Has Been It's a Mud Stain On the Windowpane Here's a Fingerprint on the Has Been
It's a Mud Stain All Over Me Now Understand What's Happening
She Will Never Go On Now She Will Never Soar Will Never Soar Will Never Soar Hereafter

Thanx! I thought I was just crazy about the "has been", it still doesn't make much sense to me...oh well, I don't write lyrics or even attempt to!

radioclash, thanks so much for the lyrics. I've finally caught up with all your lyrics and what was on the web. I now know I still need to find some more of the Lovehammers music. I've got 16 titles that I don't have the music. Any suggestions where to find some of their music other than what is available on the LH site?

Do you mind listing a couple of the ones you're looking for? I'm sure a lot are from "Ultrasound", but if you have 16 titles that's more than on "Ultrasound".

"Yes It Do" I Might Be Lost and My Hands Are Broken But My Aim Is True I Might Be Long Gone But I'm Still Taking Chances Trying To Get Home To You ===Chorus=== There's Got To Be Something More to the Middle Doo-Doo-Doo and Yes It Do And Trying Not to Make It Back - Yeah There's Got To Be Something More to the Riddle Doo-Doo-Doo and Yes It Do And I'm Trying Not To Understand =========== I Have a Choice Listen to the Voices Singing In My Head I Heard What You Said (Change It You'll Be Dead ? ? ? ?) So I Spread My Wings To Fly Chorus I Might Be Lost Nowhere to Be Found I Might Be Somewhere In the Middle of Town I Might Be Low But Always High I Might Be - Yeah Chorus And Trying Not To Understand Yes (repeats) Yee-Haw! A BIG THANK YOU, to radioclash for the lyrics to Yes It Do, I have been looking for them for awhile and only just thought of checking here now. Doh! Now I know what I am singing instead of making it up as I go along! Cheers, Helen.

Thanks radioclash for the Yes It Do lyrics. I printed them out and sat and listened again and again. I do have a small edit on the words though, and since I am not proficient in this copying stuff, I will just list my change here:
In the chorus should be: And trying hard to make it back - yeah
instead of: And trying not to make it - yeah
What does everyone think??

I'm only about 85-90% sure on most of the lyrics that I've written out. What you wrote makes a lot of sense. Now I'm hearing hard and/or not depending on which time the chorus is sung! I'm going to consult my DVD and watch them do this one and see if it helps. What do you think about the line "Trying Not to Understand" - do you think that it is also "Trying Hard to Understand" ? Everyone else is welcome to join in on this.

Sounds to me like "trying not to understand".

radioclash, I thought that it is "Trying hard to understand" both times, but the way he says it is with a silent H and the R is said the way many of those from Chicago say their Rs (silent or soft) so the word comes out as "ahd", which does sound a little like not.
I have a question about another line but will have to add that later. I have it written at home and cannot remember it at the moment.

I put the DVD in and cranked up the volume for both the main menu page and the Schubas performance of "Yes It Do" and I am clearly hearing "Not", but obviously that's just my humble opinion. I'm totally appreciating and understanding your thoughts so I'm going to change the lyrics to include both. Let me know what other lines you're looking at - I am VERY interested, and anything regarding the other songs because I have lots of question marks Thanks for your input, too, jo!

Now I am hearing both "hard" and/or "not," too. It seems to change back and forth to me. Maybe we will have to wait to get a written set of lyrics, or maybe just interpret for ourselves depending on the mood.
As for the other changes I mentioned, after listening again (for the 700th time) I will stick with your version for now. I give you alot of credit and many, many thanks radioclash for getting these lyrics written out for all of us. I have tried but need to stop and restart the song so many times I end up doing only small portions at a time, so it takes forever.

On the "Yes It Do" "hard" or "not" issue...I can't speak with any real authority (I haven't heard it since the LH 24hr marathon) but maybe they switch off? --It's tends to be a rare occurance but bands do, on occassion, switch a word or two within their chorus to keep people on their toes - both in concert and in a CD. But, honestly, I have no idea

Does anyone have the lyrics to 'Confusion' - you can download it on limewire but it think it was a 1999 song or something. If anyone already has the lyrics can you please post them here? cheers
*UPDATE*
Note: for those of you wondering, yes the 'swinging lovehammers' is our band and they releaed an LP under that name called 'Ultrasound'.

The Riddle/Yes It Do is on the new CD so if they include lyrics then we'll be able to finally know for sure what is said during the chorus I had the lyrics for "Confusion" up, but took it down and didn't save my file. Someone that has the L'Strange CD should have them for you.

I love this song. It evokes lots imagery for me. BTW-I can't access the Lovehammer's lyrics page. Is anyone else having this problem?
Confusion
There is slight confusion Believe my woman is an illusion and she's living in my head
I can't be for certain That she exists as a person Yet she's sleeping in my bed
I was freakin' when I heard what she said I was freaking when I saw what she did to me last night I'll never be the same now that I know you're insane Next time I will fly high-Bring me down never again
I can't be for certain That she exists as a person Yet she's sleeping in my bed
Dreams have found direction Left her home to find perfection Everything's going to be just fine I was freakin' when I heard what she said I was freaking when I saw what she did to me last night I'll never be the same now that I know you're insane Next time I will fly high-Bring me down never again
Never again-Never again-Never again
