U, do you mean you don't find Tommy and intellectual? How many musicians do you know that have a published book and after all he did spend like two weeks in college.

I actually find Zayara strangely entertaining...the same way some people like to watch that show "Jack Ass" that used to be on MTV where people would do some very odd stunts on themselves. I agree, Needy. She did put on quite a show on Tuesday. Not right for Supernova but I would go see her over them anyday. Now that Jill? Does she remind anyone else of one of these? Jill did a good job on that Heart Song. Heart was one of the first "girl" groups

I'm still hoping something of worth will come out of this show. Though this week I was completely taken with Storm's "Changes." Wow! No Bowie, she is, but that was a classy performance. Yeah, but who is Bowie? I thought it was one of the best Bowie covers I've ever heard. I didn't like Ryan's performance. That song is not a screaming song, especially on piano.

Needy, Do you ever watch the show Myth Busters. They do weird things to try and dispel myths. It's pretty funny what they'll do to themselves...

Oh and by the way U I never liked metal either but they're tracks do sound good and my hubby has pointed out to me how musical some of metalicas songs are. Like when they play with a FULL ORCHESTRA. (hand slipped on cap lock - not yelling)

Yes, I agree Zayra actually gags me and Josh is annoying as hell. I actually find Zayara strangely entertaining...the same way some people like to watch that show "Jack Ass" that used to be on MTV where people would do some very odd stunts on themselves. She's just annoys me. She's only still there, cuz she showed SN her woowoo. ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

I loved Storm's Changes performance. Never been a fan of hers but she nailed that song. Not Bowie at all but she made it her own. BTW, Needy, I Bowie. He is what I mean by an 'intellectual musician.' Sting as well. Lived on Police and Pink Floyd when I was a teenager.

Now that Jill? Does she remind anyone else of one of these? U Jill reminds me of a miniature Pam Anderson. Big mouth, bleach blond hair - something about her...

I think because they only eliminate ONE each week!!
I told hubby that in 2 or 3 weeks they might be down to enough talent where he'd be able to stand watching the show.

Bowie When you hear some of the crap that gets put out these dys and then hear some old Bowie, you really realize what a musical genius he is. Police - Loved them too. Ok I'm gonna run again. 4R- Hubby watches that show sometimes but when he watches TV or picks shows to watch I just walk out of the room. If he ever watches anything on Discover or God forbid some show about military aircraft or anything like that he goes into a trance and it just annoys me. ;D
