Penny, HAPPY HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!  I met Penny for the first time at Chicago Theater. I remember Penny being a blur. Running around, chatting with everyone, laughing laughing laughing. Penny, A Great Fangirl! Wishing you a very HAPPY BIRTHDAY and many more to come!!!! Hope your day is the Greatest!!!!!  Thanks for being an awesome fangirl and getting me my first Marty Casey autographed picture "The SMDIMTP" which went from Illinois to Texas then back to Illinois and then back to Texas. Oh my problems with the post office.  Shared some wonderful pm times.  Remember this one? See if you can figure it out. Oh Penny, Really and truly you are one of the main reasons I joined this board --reading your adventures in the Asylum, especially in the good ol days of Loverhammer pix and animations threads was, let me say this Chicago-style, PHENOMENAL!!! One of my favourite Penny posts was after the Metro show (or was it Aragon) when you struck up a conversation with someone in line for entrance and got to talking about martycasey.org. The woman asked you for your screen name and when you answered Penny she said "Oh, you like him a lot." I think the board had only been going for a week and you were already a legend! Then when I met you in Chicago, I introduced myself, and you said hi then went back to partying with the boys. An hour later you came up to me and said "Are you CHK from Hong Kong?!" I blame the alcohol. We need to try that again. Well, my smilies aren't working so you'll just have to insert faces as you see fit in the above! Have a brilliant day, Penny from Chicago!  |

I don't even know where to start, and if I did, I wouldn't be able to stop....Many things are built upon in friendships, and I have a huge admiration for ours... My first warm feeling of knowing...This is for real. Knowing you were my friend...Natasha comes to get me from the hospital, and has changed. She wasn't this over reactive teenager being dumped lives worse tragedies, one being the "real" possiblitity of her loosing her Mommy, she was smiling. She had a new "outlook" on life, one of positive energy and one of great peace within herself. She was heading down that path with laughter, a great outlook and a sense of comfort. I'm like what happened? What are you on? Who have you been talking to?...hehe.....She said, I have Penny, DG, and Doc that is going to take care of us now Mom, so I don't have to worry anymore. Penny promised. I can never thank people, especially you My Penny girl, for being there and saving my baby, and lifting that burden she was so carrying for tooooo long on her little shoulders....For making her laugh, for allowing her to cry, and just for simply being there for her.... I'd get home and start to read the past threads, and there was My Penny, carrying little Smooched on her shoulders..... That's what truly friends are for.... Plus, your more crazy than I am, so that's a plus in my books too........ Penny, I didn't find the post about our Rockit enlightenment but you will be pleased to know that I did find a favorite one of 'ours.' Yes, ours!!! While I was searching for it I discovered that in your usual snarky fashion, you have only mentioned Steve 6 times!!! 6?!?!?!?? I won't tell you how many times I have and you know you are just as amused as I am. Do I even need to mention myspace? LOL That is what is so awe inspiring about Penny. She has a way of setting things up w/o others knowing she is behind the whole plot. In case others have been snarkily (word?) deceived, let me share a post from one of my favorite days in the asylum with you, Penny. Notice how you masterfully set me up to make this post so that you could maintain your 'coolness!' 6 times?!?!??!?!? What you all don't know about Penny is that she had a hand in posting the infamous Blue Martyhead picture. You're good, girl. You're not so innocent....and that is one thing I love about you, Penny!  Happy Birthday! eta: no pic was 'quoted' in this post. No worries, mods. Yes, I have this pic in my photobucket...and I am betting Penny does as well.  |

So, you're like 20-something now?....ok, so I meant your youthful exuberance, not your age...Your heartfelt honesty, sense of humor and dedication to the band and the fan girls on this board is very obvious and I am always happy that, as a Chicago local, you set a fine LH fan girl example. May all your birthday wishes (I think you are entitled to several based on your kindness) come true!!! I wish you happiness and fun on your special day!!!!!

Penny, Penny, Penny...I love Penny. Even though we were both at some of the earlier shows last year, we did not meet in person for a little while. I remember when Lora lost that camera after Aragon. I remember when she was so happy that some sweet, cute girl in Rockit found it and returned it to her. That is so funny that we did not know that it was Penny at the time. She certainly did not resemble that yellow, smiley faced picture of herself that she had posted after Metro. ;D Speaking of Metro... After that show, a bunch of us were discussing it on the old LH board. We were all laughing about an incident that happened during the show. Yeah Penny...you know what I am talking about.  Some drunk girl had pushed her way through the crowd in an attempt to give Marty a bouquet of white roses. It's a funny story and I am sure everyone's heard all about it. The chick was holding them up, waving them, & shoving them at him. Marty did not want to take them at that point. (He was in the zone and performing and rocking out.) Finally he takes them from her... and that was the end of those poor flowers. He held them to his mouth like a megaphone, held them to his ear, then he kept rocking out and beat the $#%^ out of those roses. Petals flying everywhere until he was left holding a bunch of stems. heeheehee But anyway, we were all on the LH board talking about it and how crazy that girl acted that night. Oh, and has anyone mentioned that after the Aragon show last year when metromix was posting photos Penny noticed that in one her hand is on Marty's calf! And she was all "that's my hand, that my HAAAAAND! Does it look fat?" LOL! You crack me up gal, I love you to pieces.
