I have already said my Happy Birthdays to Penny elsewhere, but I wanted to add to this Penny experience thread. Once upon a time, on a message board not too far from here, some members were being unfairly persecuted by the board's rulers. Their own people, who should have had their backs were taking the words of others over theirs. Suddenly, out of nowhere, comes this stranger to back up everything that these members had been saying all along. You would thing that an unbiased 3rd party who had actually been involved in the situation, coming in to set the record straight would have fixed things, but it was never meant to be. But those members will never forget what that stranger did that day, and we truly appreciated it. Months later, we found out that it was Penny.  I hope it's okay that I told this story Penny...I generalized most of it to protect the innocent and the not-so innocent. So Happy Birthday and all that again, and I just wanted to let you now that you are awesome!! I am looking forward to meeting you in less than a month and you can tell me to "Shut it" in person.  |
