 I just had to say something to the world about Marty Casey - he is so good! I liked him so much that I used my mike to record him from the video clips that were posted on RockStar INXS website. I listen to them over and over again, especially 'I Alone' and 'Take Me Out'. Damn he is so good! Glad INXS didn't pick him, that way he won't be stuck with an inferior group of musicians around him. The only time he screwed up was trying to sing the 'Runs' line from Radiohead's Creep. But I forgive him that because I could tell his voice was really strained from practicing all day and no doubt more than he's used to. Anyway at least he didn't completely blow it like Jordis did. No matter, he rocks and I'm sure the whole world will soon be buying his cds.

I'm going with Spocky on this...at least she tried, it takes alotta guts to risk lookin' like a fool.
And I actually didn't notice Marty falter too much during Creep...it's one of my favorites. ;D

Well, it's not so much a "mess up" as it is being able to hear his voice strain...but then I always thought that was just because he was feeling the song so I really wouldn't have him sing it any other way. (As I said before, it's one of my favorites.)

I thought he did a killer job on creep. I listen to it all the time. The end was supposed to be cut off, is that what you think is the mess up? You can tell the last run is supposed to be cut because the songs have limited time exposure and the instrumentals are right on cue. I also respect and admire Jordis sooo much, love her voice. Even though I'm not much into duo's, I wish her and Marty would do a DUO song together. It would be awesome!!!   |
