Hey all! Hoot! How was your trip? I made sure the weather was nice while you were here. I couldn't do anything about the traffic, sorry. Hey BG! We didn't find the traffic to be too bad, actually. Just one night hubby went out to get dinner that should have taken 15 minutes, and he was gone over an hour.  I was thinking of you all week when we were there. Now with you guys and your weather...I just had to laugh. On the weather report, they call it a cool down and cold front when your temps drop from 92 to 88. Around here, you have 3 days of 90 degree temps and it is a heat wave. Apparently in Florida that is just a typical October week.  And what was that on Saturday night? The tornado warning, sever thunderstorm warnings with hail, etc? They completely freak us out, then go back to regular programming on tv. We were like whaaaa? We had such a good time though. The kids loved everything...we did so much! The hotel was awesome...it was more than they had expected and hoped! I'm so glad ya'll had fun! I wish I would have thought to give you my number just in case you needed something. I'm sorry. I thought about you too and hope all was going well. I drove down that way a few time and the traffic was yucky. Yeah, the weather was cool for us. My friend just called about going shopping for long sleeves because it's getting chilly now. ;D We were in Sarasota for the weekend so missed the tornado but it must have been bad in someplace's. You should see the papers today. |

You should see the papers today. I was in the room packing Sat night while the kids were in the pool with hubby. All of a sudden I heard the loud long whistle of the life guard and knew something was wrong. They cleared out the pool area in minutes. It was scary...but it completely missed us. Going shopping for long sleeves...you guys are too funny! *giggle* The lifeguards were all wearing jackets and long sleeves and thought we were all nuts swimming. The lower 80s is not cool, people. ;D |
