Yeah it was a comedy of errors though--one of the cleaning crew who spoke very little English picked it up and took it home with him. We had been texting the phone from my phone saying call us if you find it. He finally called and he spoke Polish. Trying to explain to him that we needed the phone Sunday not Monday was like impossible. FInally about 11pm we got a hold of someone at Smart Bar that called the guys superviosr and he had the guy bring the phone to the Smart Bar at 2:30am.  What a disaster! We were so tired and giggly. I'm glad she got it back before we left. I know I'd be lost without my phone--too many important numbers in there (like many fangirl numbers that aren't any where else.) B ut the weekend was so amazing it didn't really matter I was determined to not let anything spoil it and nothing did. I saw the Matt conversation on the last pages. I thought he was soooooo cute at the RockStar taping I was so mad that he was the first to go. Need to send him a myspace message and say--let me know when you are in LA--playing somewhere. I wish it had worked out to go see him after our dinner on Friday night but it was too far to really make it in time. Did everyone enjoy Chicago? ONe of my favorite cities even though it was chilly! |

Eleanor I am sitting here holding my eyes open with my fingers. I am crazed! I'm having muscle spasm and should probably move around to get some blood circulation but I can't. CJ put a spell on us.  Hi CJ  I stayed at work til almost nine because I didnt want to stop posting. Nuts. |

I really really liked it...I didnt get around much, but I loved the area where our hotel was, loved the hotel, LOVED the street, so beautiful. Seems like a very liveable city, if not for the blizzards, that is. The temp was a g-dsend to me, loved every second of it. |

When he walked out without a shirt and no shoes....................... Unfortunately I was not able to see that whole entrance thing until he really stood up- I was SHOCKED (and thrilled) to see him sans shirt. Never thought he would do it |

I loved Chicago and I also loved that neighborhood. There was a lot of character. Very easy to travel around. It felt very safe and it was very clean.
