Why do us Moms (milfs) always feel guilty when we have a chance to do something for ourselves. When mine were little I was with them all the time! They did turn out well, but looking back on my life, I could have, should have had more me time!

I'm glad hubby understood, and sometimes dramatics come in handy... ;D Hey JS I can't say since I've never had kids but my mom is a big believer in having her own time. When we were kids she was always there for us but as we got older she started putting her and my dad's time at the top of her list. Said she had too or she'd go nuts, bottom line I love my (sometimes) sane mommy so have your fun, you're daughter will be just fine

Hi js! lol lioness, no that does not make you an awful person! OK, fantasy mode....I meet up with fangirls, have a light dinner (with vodka gimlets [hubby is an alcoholic so to show support to him I haven't had anything to drink in years]). Then off to The Metro for an evening of insane music. And then finally I go to a Meet and Greet and get my picture taken with ALL THE GUYS! Then after a very exciting night (early morning?), I go back to my hotel room for a nice hot soak in the tub (with bubbles). I do believe I'm in heaven..... We WILL get tickets, We WILL get tickets, We WILL get tickets...

Ahem, may I humbly suggest that those Fangirls who do not drink often might want to have a few weeks of practice drinking before Chicago? I'd hate to see y'all curled up in the corner of the Metro asleep on your purses

According to Kelley, I was shouting for "MIGGY! MIGGY!" at the Viper show, thanks to the wine at dinner, but all that screaming, sweating, dancing, and rocking out sobered me up completely. It's the afterparties that you have to worry about... ;D

I was wasted (on vodka), I didn't eat all day and I guess I was excited. I'm still hearing what I did that night, because none of my friends have ever seen me that way! I don't even remember most of the night!

And yes, the afterparties are the killers. Hee.

Yes, I guess I was screaming "Bobby the Greek God of Thunder" The next time I met him he had that "Deer in headlights look" Teeeheee, that was the greatest! And you were screaming "We want to see the MAD CONDUCTOR!" to which Marty replied, "You want me to break out the mad conductor? At an acoustic show?" It was hilarious.
