I ate dinner tonight w/ a 3 year old who could name all the continents and several countries. Including strange, small ones.. This is a tribute to her.

Tapping away on her keyboard, Ayesa was disturbed by a knock on her door. Taking a sip of her gin & tonic, she glanced up from the computer monitor, "Who is it?" A muffled voice from the other side of the door replied, "You wanted to speak to me?" Twitching one eye, she sighed, "Come in." Fly stepped in, shutting the door behind her. "You wanted something?" "Do you have a card or a hairpin or something of the sort?" "I have a lockpick kit, will that do? What?" The other said to A's raised eyebrows. "I haven't used it for years. I'll go get from my study." "Is Jeremy still there?" A said with a slight sneer. "No, he left. He's scared of Bobby, as usual." Fly sighed, then walked out at a sharp clip. A few minutes later, Ayesa sat outside the Lounge waiting for Fly. Polishing her revolver, she started a little when she heard footsteps coming up behind her. Shit! she thought, Who the hell?! Turning around, she looked up to see Bobby standing in the doorway holding a beer. She sighed, "What do you want Bob?" He shrugged, "What're you doing?" Ayesa shot him a look, "It's none of your business, but I'm waiting for Fly. We're busting into the lounge." Bobby looked at Ayesa for a moment and then: "Was Jeremy in Fly's room?" At this, Ayesa looked at him for a long time and then sighed, "No. Jeremy went to my office after the picnic." Bobby's eyes widened, "Why? You and Jeremy aren't?" Ayesa shook her head, "No, no, no. He just wanted to know why Fly & I are so moody." Bobby sighed, "Oh okay. See ya later then." As he left the room, Ayesa sighed and looked out into the hall, "Come on out Fly, I know you're there." |

"I don't want someone passed around like a bottle of wine at a punk show," Ayesa retorted, then stomped off to open the Lounge. Fly sighed, shrugged her shoulders, and traipsed to the kitchen. |
