*sigh* I'll always think of him as Johnny Cade in "The Outsiders" instead. Some of my sophomores were looking at the back of an old paperback copy of the book in my room, which has pics from the film on it, the other day. They said the only thing that could improve that line-up of actors in their opinion would be the addition of John Travolta. For the record, "The Outsiders" starred C. Thomas Howell, Rob Lowe, Patrick Swayze, Matt Dillon, Ralph Macchio, Diane Lane, Leif Garrett, and Tom Cruise.

Ummm...that explains it then. "The Outsiders" was in 1983...the Karate Kid movies a few years later.

Tom had a very minor part. He was Steve, Sodapop's best friend...the one he worked at the DX with. You could say he was the background Greaser...*hehe*
