Hi U~ Bye U~ I see, a comic project or book? I'm being nosey (more than usual) because I dont want to work on this art anymore Book. I've started it about three times in the past seven years, but I've never written more than 20 pages. My friend might just be perfect for the parts I can't write. She's good at action bits.

Oh wow Fly, good luck with that. Writing books can be a bugger like nothing else.

New quiz? The trivia thing? Trivia. I never knew that knowing what the inside of a giraffe's mouth is like would come in handy ever.

...okay, are the little falling snow dots driving anyone else batty? I keep thinking I'm doing something or that my screen's jacked...but no. It's just this nicely festive cyber-snow...driving me distracted. *edit* TENSES, cripes you'd think I'd know how to write by now.

Much nicer, but I'm like...watching it. Instead of doing what I need to...and I keep catching glimpses out of the corner of my eye.
Then again, I really shouldn't complain since I don't have to SHOVEL it.

I feel your pain. The play I've been working on (on and off) for about eight years is that way. Plus it's full of flashbacks...so not only do you have a MASS of characters (a rather large family) in the present day, but you also have them in the 1960's as well...so multiply them by two.

Well, its not that bad, but I feel like I've barely scratched the surface with all the "main" characters...I still have incidentals to work on.

Too many logistics to worry about. Plus I keep thinking about cutting this character or that one...trying to decide if them being there is valid. Plus my poor main character, my heroine, I keep flip-flopping on whether or not she should marry her long-time boyfriend/father of her kid. *sigh*

I will smile and nod as this goes way up over my head. I do good to read properly. Each character has to be well defined before you start. The last thing you want is your story going by the wayside because your character is ill-defined and does things that screw up the plotline.

My main character lives in NYC and is a columnist for a major paper up there...the story deals with her returning home for Christmas - she's anti-war...her father is a veteran and believes in serving your country..hence conflict

Well girls, I've got to review the kiddies for finals tomorrow. So I had best be going soon. Hate to drop in and run off so quickly. Guess I'll have to give up on the final two songs on Ceeje's quiz until tomorrow.
