I always feel bad about not staying home with the kids on NYE, but the partygirl in me just can't stay home that night. I stayed home when my son was 2 and he just threw up all night... so fuhgeddaboutit.

The Jets had best win Sunday...and I hope #34 can play...he didn't Monday...hurt calf...if the Jets don't get into the playoffs via the game against the Raiders, with the Raiders record considered, I'm going to feel like marching to NY to talk to Mangini. Even though I feel he's provided the program with a much needed boost.

Speaking of that - if you have time sometime - go to the Jets site www.newyorkjets.com and click on the link to vote for Coach Mangini as coach of the week. He deserves it and this is his second nom in a row, but the more well-known coaches keep beating him. Somewhere on the site there's a link to vote for Leon Washington for player of the week and he deserves it! Vote for him too if you have time!
