Looks like Dino, Marty and Bobby went to the VH1 Big in '05 show on Dec 3 in LA. (I think Billy had to be back in Chicago, according to what he said on the LH board, because he's still doing the day job for a little bit longer.)   |

Boy this show is about as lame as they come. Torture sitting through it....
No LH sightings that I have seen, however, I have sorta been working on web work instead of watching closely.

During the "Big Entertainer" award they pan to a shot of Adrienne Curry and Christopher Knight sitting in the audience - the Lovehammers are sitting right behind them!! I didn't see Marty; I just caught a glance of Dino. I going to watch it again tomorrow and keep my eyes peeled for Marty - now that I know when to look!

I did watch the show...after hearing promos that INXS would be on ( was curious to see them perform) ...and wondered if the LH had gone to the show...missed what you caught Nelle...good job picking out Dino!! Too bad Billy couldn't be there...so the whole band could be seen together...but glad that Marty, Dino and Bobby did make their apprearance! Thanks for the pics Lesely  those pictures!! Marty is magnificent in black  Once INXS was done...I pretty much tuned out the rest of the show...yes, Cindy...lame came to mind too many times! ....but hopefully this was good for the LH to be seen at...and hope they had a great time... |

I had watched the VH1 show. I had tried to focus only on the good stuff and block out all the bad stuff from the show. imo... I have to say that INXS was "pretty" good.  Audioslave was totally awesome with their song Doesn't Remind Me... ;)I love the ending of the show...when Def Leppard had done Pour Some Sugar On Me. I had hoped that they would of sung Rock Of Ages and Have You Ever Needed Someone... or maybe a bit of all three songs. Oh well... I can't always get what I want... |

I watched INXS today on the repeat of Big in 05. liked Pretty Vegas, it wasn't the best performance but I like the song. I think JD is putting his heart and soul into INXS.
That being said, my sister had some interesting observations on JD's performance.
During the performance, my sister who is not a martycasey.org girl (though she should be) looked at JD and then looked at me and said "That's a Marty move." I can't remember exactly what he did, but it was a Marty pose. The performance continued and she said, "That's a MIG move." JD had started to take his jacket off. He did take it off later and threw it at the drums. I am very happy to see JD learned some things from RSINXS.

Yeah, JD totally tried some conductor moves, when he wasn't squatting and jumping like he had to go the bathroom. I thought the performance was wretched, personally. JD jumped off the drum kit (he didn't do that on RS, although Marty did more than once!) and he tried the hand/arm wiggly thing that Marty does. Except he had no idea what on earth he was doing, so he just looked stupid. JD is completely unoriginal...

Oh great! So he stopped imitating Elvis and he is imitating Marty? There is a re-run tonight...I don't know if I should attempt it, but I may try to watch. Have to think about it for awhile. I wouldn't recommend it. They tried too hard to make the presentors/host funny. There were a couple of decent performances and bits of humor, but overall it was very stale. I ended up just doing slow motion through the audience shots to see if I could see the Lovehammers. I didn't. |

The funniest thing was when JD couldn't undo his jacket button. He tried two times and finally used both hands to open it. I thought they sounded good but I did notice some borrowed moves. The Elvis thing was still there but he is trying new things. I just made me laugh!

After observing JD on RSINXS, he'll try it. He was always doing whatever worked for someone. Example, Marty rocked w/ an acoustic "Trees," next week JD did an acoustic "Pretty Vegas." The bull horn was all his idea though, maybe that's why it facinates me so much.

I'm watching the rerun on VH1 and I just saw Dino as reported behind Peter Brady he looked do cute! Does anyone know when during the show that INXS performs? I'm hoping to see J.D and his Mimicked conductor moves, yes J.D does have some redeeming quality's .....I'd have to put my thinking cap on |
