Fantastic~You should get one of those travel books, they can give you ideas of how and when to hit particular things to get the best out of your vacation and don't forget to ck out that crooked street over there. It is very crooked and tight. ![]() Don't worry, Roomie has it on the list with Chinatown, Fisherman's Wharf, the beach, Golden Gate Park, the Marin Headlands... Are you gonna hit the Rock? That place is awesome! Drafty though. |

In Chinatown, I felt sooo bad, we didn't finish our food and threw it in the garbage can and a homeless woman came from out of nowhere and got it out and disappeared quickly. I felt so bad.

I figure, that people have to live...I feel bad for those that are out on the streets, but they are doing what they have to to survive. Isa, honestly how could you know? Don't feel bad for just making a simple act as throwing away your trash. That person had to survive and they did that for self preservation.

Weird question, but does Alcatraz have a gift shop? Hmmmn, I don't remember one. There are tons of shops at Fisherman's Warf though, where you can buy stuff related to it. If you go to Alcatraz, do the audio tour. I don't think it costs all that much. |
