I think it'll be interesting. Not as interesting as politics( ), but should be fun. Oh, and hi Nlt. I was pretty interested in politics too and we had 2 required politics courses that I enjoyed but I don't think I would pursue it any further. I think its great that you are so interested! Politics is #2. Music is #1, but they don't really have a degree for Music History.

I started at Old Dominion but transferred here and all my electives were taken up by credits that transferred in, so I only had 1 or 2 electives when I got to the smaller school.

I had a really great religion class in college that was awesome! I just wish I had taken it earlier and not my last year, I would have had time to take more. I kept the book, too, Chay. Interesting stuff. I didn't get to take my second religion course in a classroom. I wanted to finish on time so I had to take it online because they weren't offering it when I needed it. I would have much rather had it in the classroom for the discussions.

I hate credit transfer issues. I mean, really...I just wish it was a little more uniform across the board. We don't have electives, but we do have to take 3 upper division courses outside our major.

Ugh, when I first tried to transfer in, I was rejected! I left there in tears because I couldn't understand why ODU credits wouldn't transfer, it was frustrating. I eventually had to call my old advisor and get her to send some accredation(sp?) form so I could get my transfer. It was nuts. And then, the guy who told me that I couldn't transfer in ended up being my new advisor ;D. That was an interesting first semester.

I thought she was decent until I had to deal with her forgetting to order my AP Calculus test.

You want a couple of great course titles. ;D
I took a political science class called Utopianism, and a Philosophy class called Philosophical Foundations of Feminism. ;D
Of course, this was in 1970. ;D ;D

I'm not sure it was really much of a poli-sci class. We read Erehwon, Utopia by Thomas Moore and a couple of other books like that and discussed the possibility of something like that actually happening. But then, it was a sign of the times.

One of the Politics professors teaches a class called Terrorism, and its always at 8am, yet it fills up every semester its taught.

I worked myself out of work. I worked so hard on getting stuff done until I got everything done and now I'm just browsing the net.
