I usually make the 3-D cakes, and they take a long time to decorate. But if you mean one of those flat, shaped pans, it should be much easier. How are you going to decorate it? With a pastry bag? Yeah, I was thinking the flat would be easier since I'm just starting out. It's this one. www.amazon.com/Wilton-Elmo-Face-Cake-Pan/dp/B00006BMPOI've got the pastry bags and tips. I was going to use the premade stuff in a tube, but my mom said those can be kinda thick and hard to use, not as much control. Yeah, I agree about the premade stuff. Frosting is really easy to make, and you can adjust the consistency too. That's a cute pan!

I've made frosting before, so I figured may as well and just do that. I can't believe I'm so excited to make this friggin' cake! What has happened to me? Being an aunt has turned me slightly soft.

Bye U! Of course, I planned on taking pics to share with you all my Betty Crocker side that has emerged. I can't even imagine what I'll be like if I ever become a mother. Yikes.

Morning ladies~ Nlt, I saw you were baking and thought maybe you would need an apron. Just imagine the LH on it, wherever you see fit.

Was it one of those barbie cakes where she is standing in a huge gown? Am I really talking about cake decorating still?
