Mine's older, but maybe I can help. I've since upgraded to a Canon  That's the one I usually use but the Kodak fits in my purse. I can either use the card to download pics or hook it up with a usp cable, right? |

Mine had a cradle/charger that came with it that is sits on - that's what hooks into my computer with the USB plug. Then it has a share button on the front that you hit to transfer the pics from the camera into the computer.

It did have a cord to go from the charger unit to the computer.
Taking it to the camera store might work.
