Just voted yes. It might be a road trip. If a few Toronto area folks are going, we could all take one car. I'll offer mine. It's a Honda Civic - so I could take four comfortably. I'm so excited about going to Chicago and meeting Fangirls and Fanguys. Hey everyone, I am so glad to see so many of you interested in meeting up.  So lets get this ball rolling!!!  Now I wish I could say this gathering would include seeing LH, but alas that is out of my hands, however it does not mean that we can’t meet up with the many friends we have made.  It seems that the weekend of June 30th would work well for most (chi, we'll figure out a way for you to make it.  ), so we will continue to work in that direction. We can make this a planned gathering at a restaurant like the pizza party before HJ, another restaurant (maybe a great Greek restaurant where we can all try something completely different),  we could plan something around the Taste of Chicago (some Chi-town girls can give us direction with that),  or we can look into some local bands playing at a venue.  I’m sure whatever we choose to do it is going to be a blast.  This is just as it sounds, an opportunity for us fans to meet up enjoy some great food, great drinks, great friends, in a great city.  We are in the beginning stages of organizing and I would love to have some feedback on what ya'll would be most interested in. I am soo excited to see this get off the ground, and finally meet some of you. Stil, I wish it was possible for you and your wife to make, maybe something will change along the way.  So lets hear some ideas...  |

Well looking at my funds at this point, I might just have to wait on this after all...I am hoping that if there is another Hammerjam that I can save enough to go to that. I just need to see how much it will cost...I will see. This sounds like a great plan and I am sure that everyone will have a blast! Keep planning away YC!

HUGE concert for me that weekend. Need more details to decide if I could make this outing.
Are there hotels still available for that weeked? My suggestion is to move it to the following week.

Penny, I hope you can make it work for the Sunday get together, I thought doing the get together when Summerfest was going on would increase the chances of more people making it. The idea of going to athena's Greek resteraunt has been brought to the table, I really like the idea of getting together at a place the guys like to go to. Ideas are welcome. |

U, it would be fantastic, I really hope things pan out for you. I am so looking forward to Summerfest weekend! Seeing my 2nd LH concert and hangin with some great friends. Already, got my ride bummed back to Chicago with klees. Looking forward to dining at a fine Greek Restaurant. Eat some cheese that is set on fire, that will be interesting. What other sights can we see?  |
