Always quiet when I come in.
Quiet, let's take a trip down GP's creative mind and look at the meaning of quiet.

Dictionary.com describes quiet as free, or comparatively free, from noise making no noise or sound, silent, restrained in speech, manner.

Now take a look closely at the meaning of quiet. To be silent. No noise whatsoever. Yet, there truefully is no such thing as quiet. There is always some kind of noise somewhere. Especially in this day and age. Just outside my window, I can hear the noise of the cars passing along side the highway even though it is after 10:30. I can also hear all the bugs making their rather annoying noises.

Now some people say that listening to classical music is quiet and relaxing. Well let me tell ya, I'm listening to Tchaikovsky's 1812 Overture, well an excert actually. I don't have the whole version, but the whole version is pretty awsome. Now the 1812 Overture is absolutly nothing close to being quiet. It is full of sounds and noises. Cannons, Bells, and all the musical instraments, Trombones, Trumpets, Drums, and many others.

Seriously if you ever get the chance to listen to 1812, it's pretty cool.

What about the phrase Quiet as a Mouse....even a mouse isn't quiet. They always squeak and give themselves away.

Ok, now that I've completly bored myself about being quiet, I'll be going to Quizillia. Remember......smart GP...is boring....ok that was totally useless....totally? Umm.....I've lost it. Oh well! Never had it to begin with! Drink up me hearties yo ho!

Hi ya Iwo! I wish I had the full copy of 1812. Maybe I'll try and get the full version from my BIL. I know he has it. We listened to it the other day.

GP, I loved reading your 'quiet' stuff!! I totally relate to how your brain works. You know, there's no reason not to spare and share a few thoughts in the asylum when nobody is around. I'll remember to do the same next time there's an echo in the old studio. To the soliloquy!!!
