Hey Den..... I was just at the Paper Factory to let Frank know there maybe a Aussie moving party happening soon! Bumped into Frick and he let me know the move had happened Says he noticed and thought he better come back to supplies. Here's how the story goes..



Frick: Hey Trees.... Can you give me a hand here please. We
noticed the Super paper towels were getting low over at the Aussies' new Digs so I came back... Think we're going to need the XXSuper towels and we're going to need a couple mops

Trees: I'll back the truck up hummm..... lets take this Mop Rack and a couple dispensing machines for the new place



Two Roll dispenser a must!! Think we need two at least eh? Frick?


Trees: How's the party going?

Frick: The party's starting to build... Pics, whiskey, chards pitchers of grog!! So we may as well take along the Wet Vac for any spillage. This baby here from Henry Mfg. really hums with big jobs. Looks like we're going to need it



Jets calling in Ing ummmm.... something about her coming to teach Marty the triple flip on the HH without spilling a drop I want to get back there for that Lisafaith says Aussie in Town and I hear she wants to have a go on the HH too



There's the guys just coming out with Den's mattress... and we're picking up one for Helen too

Trees. The hot tub is almost the right temp. pssst....Trees....great thing about this place being so hot, you don't have to worry about tripping over the powercord on the hot tub after having some of Peeks Brew.... ....this hot tub doesn't need one

Great! We are all set! Got the big size mattresses for the dismounts on the HH....No worries now. Helen can use the hot tub for her physio. Helen, you might want to check the temp before you get in....it may be tooooooooooooo hot.



Stilletto, great impression...and thanks for the warning. We may need to put up more Caution Signs. Trees has provided lots more cleanup supplies so I don't slip and fall from all the... around here. Actually I think the shop vac is going to get quite a workout.

DG, you and all the mods are fantastic! Great job helping get the thread going.

G'day everyone,

I just LOVE our new home. Really gotta stop myself going to the Newbies thread, it is just that old habits die hard.

DG, you're a darling thanks so much for starting this thread here, I have been talking about it for awhile but just never got around to it! Oh yeah, and I got SG-1 season 9 DVD boxset for Chrissy, just gotta find the time to sit and watch it. I will have a marathon sometime soon.

needy, you got it right mate we here in Oz and all our honorary Aussies are all a little crazy but as you say, we just LOVE it!

The decorating so far is bloody AWESOME , I feel so at home, just hope all the other gals do as well, I am sure after a few Marty snacks and that brew of Peeksys and some hot soaks in the spa all will be fabbo

I have bought along some more decorating,

Denise (dlh) and I at Rosebud beach in early December in our hot Aussie sun, gorgeous day.



Denise and I on my discharge from hospital just before Christmas, doing our best at Street Teaming whenever we can, just couldn't let this coincidence pass us by.



Marty, showname now officially Glenene Clarity, thanks to the real Marty chosing that beautiful name for him, I just love it the more I say it. Marty is about 9 weeks old in these photos, my sister took them and has only just emailed them thru to me today.

Just posted this under the Street Teaming Aussie thread but I thought I would share it here also.

Hi fellow Street Teamers,

Just thought I'd let you all know that I have had my Txting thumb going lately on Channel V, which is one of Australia's music cable channels and have had the Lovehammers mentioned twice in shoutouts!!!

A shoutout is when you text in a message and they display your message across the bottom of the screen when playing music videos clips.

My messages read.

1. If you wanna hear gr8 rock music listen to MARTY CASEY & LOVEHAMMERS.

and the second one was in response to a question they asked which was "What would you stay up all night for?" my answer,

2. To listen to awesome music especially from MARTY CASEY & LOVEHAMMERS, rock on, Helen.

I got a real buzz when my messages finally came across the TV screen.

Hey Aussies,
Helen, first of all, gorgeous pix of Marty/Clarity. He is lovely. And well done on the street teaming, mate. That is bloody awesome. I just went to the HMV here, which had pulled MCLH off the shelves for about 2 months and suddenly it's back, front and centre with its own divider and everything. I didn't even have to move it so people could see it!
And they re-ordered the RS:INXS dvd; it hasn't been in stock for over a year. Hmmmmm

So on a completely different topic, I just had a little chat with a new Aussie friend of mine. She hails from Bisbane and was telling me about throwing a snag on the barbie (trying to shake me with lingo, haha!) so I asked, "well, did ya ever hang from the hills hoist?"
She started laughing and told me the best thing to do with th eol HH is attach a bladder of wine to it, cut a hole and spin it around while you and friends lie underneath trying to catch a slurp or two.
;D It's like she knows us or something!
