I do not miss college social crap. Of course, now it is more ruthless with the soccer moms. They play mean. Nevermind, I wish I was still in college. I'm saying! They work around everyone's schedule but hers. I really don't get why she bothers. My friends and I are just like, "Okay, that's fine" and get on with our lives. We don't have to spend every day together. Soccer moms fight dirty? Why she bothers...honestly, she must either be immature or lacking in self confidence. Hopefully, she'll outgrow both. It's very common. See, I was/am more like you. If I want to go to a movie and no one else if free, I go. Same with eating. Of course, I have little ones to take care of now but when I have free time, that is the way I roll. No, soccer moms fight mean. I like dirty. And yeah, they can be very fierce when it comes to putting their little Dick or Jane at the front of the pack.

When I was a kid, we didn't bother with that stuff. I don't get it when parents get so wrapped up in their kids' self esteem that it becomes their own.

Speaking of new music, I just remembered I had the new 'sounding board' survey for our local alternative station. There was actually some new stuff on it.

Let's see...Mark Ronson feat. Lily Allen. Isn't that who you said Kate Nash reminded you of? Imani Coppola~like the sound of it. Bat for Lashes isn't new but I like them. One I do not enjoy: The Spill Canvas. The Strata--Stay Young is not bad.

That's a weird name...

How tall is your dad? This guy was actually really sweet. I tapped him on the...well, I could reach the middle of his back. ;D...and asked him if I could either get in front of him or get on his shoulders. He stammered and said sweetly, I have bad knees. LMAO! But his friend laughed and said I could stand in front of him. For a mosh pit, it was very civil.

Interesting...they're like British Siouxsie and the Banshees, almost.

6'2"!! Tall. And your mom? I can see the similarity to Siouxsie and the Banshees... Interesting mix this week since the survey also had Feist and Jack Johnson. I always like of Penny when I hear him.
