I know what you mean. I'm about to have research papers come in. They got postponed twice due to me being sick. That's got to be some kind of first... I've been at the store more than here lately. I don't know why. I just have. Been making banners for it. I've got to stay on top of my paperwork. We'll have p/t conf the night before Hammerfest...and they moved the School Board meeting...so sadly I won't know if I've been rehired before I come to Chicago. They'll be doing that while I'm on the train on the way home. I haven't been posting as many pics and captions as I used to. There are points where I get fed up with my PB. Same old pics...no time to go find new ones. I miss doing the pic stories, though. Where's Trees??? That's a drag that you don't know if you'll be rehired. I hope you're not too worried about it. |

I'm trying to convince myself no news is good news, but at the same time it bothers me that he hasn't at least said "Everything was fine" or anything. He usually has us sign the form when he's done or something...and I haven't even done that. So it's bugging me. |

Not with the concert part, but with the jumping in with the jokes, etc. I'm nutso when I'm here, but it depends how many people are around and if most of them are super confident and funny - I get intimidated. Shot of scotch always helps.  |

I'm lowering my expectations - accepting that I may not get to talk to him. It would be so cool, though, because I like how his brain works. So far, 2008 has been much easier to get through because I've lowered my expectations on a number of fronts. Good times. Ha-ha-ha!! |

Yes, this year has been sunshine and light compared to last year's classes, etc. I would, but I'm just waiting. Thinking no news is good news. I got the sheet asking if I wanted to be considered for re-employment. Methinks that is a good sign...
We can be the new Low Expectations Club! I'm sorta thinking that too...if I get a moment great, but I'll probably just go stupid if I do. I tend to do that.
