I just looked at ticket master and they have a date set up for INXS to play at the Orpheum theatre in my area and I wonder if the Lovehammers will be opening with them on that date here? The tickets are not on sale yet but I signed up for notification.

So to the moderators can you tell me if they will be playing here on that date? I need to know. I would hate to get the tickets and have it just be INXS and not the Lovehammers with Marty. I wonder because in Marty's interview he says they will tour with INXS for weeks. So who knows how long weeks means. If you can't tell me where can I find out? I posted this on the Lovehammers site also and hopefully I will get a confirmation of some kind from one of the band members or something.

Yes...I caught that comment too on his latest interview....."touring for several weeks with INXS"....so does this mean he will only be opening for some of the shows!!!  ?? Maybe he is only opening for those shows in the U.S.?  (I am in Canada). How can we find out.....I also don't want to buy a ticket to any INXS show here in Canada until I find out if the Lovehammers will be the opening band! If not I am going to be so disappointed and angry!!!!!!!!!  |

We've not yet heard any official word on tour dates. Marty has made the statement that Lovehammers will be opening for INXS, but I don't personally know if that includes just one leg or the entire tour. I'm hoping we'll find out soon!

Yeah tickets for that show go on sale next Friday. I guess I'll just purchase them and hope and cross my fingers that the Lovehammers will be opening for them.

It's for Minneapolis at the Orpheum Theatre on February 3rd. No mention of Lovehammers yet but since Marty has confirmed that LH is indeed touring with INXS I think we are safe to mark our calendars. Ticket on sale date is October 7th.
FYI... The Orpheum's capacity is 2600.

Yeah it's not a huge place. No matter where you get a seat you can see the stage pretty well I have been there. I will be online getting tickets as soon as they go on sale.

Well it looks like the concert is cancelled. It now says no dates scheduled for MPLS/St Paul area at ticketmaster. |

I looked on Ticketmaster today and it still has the listing for Orpheum on 02-03. They also have Denver listed on 01-30 and Chicago on 02-04. I couldn't find anything about the opening act though. It did have option to purchase tickets for all of the above.  |

Can you look again? I think it changed since you looked because it shows no MPLS anymore and I have been checking it every day but it says no dates for MPLS and it says they will be performing in Universal City,CA on 01/27/2006 as the only concert on ticketmaster. MPLS was on there before but now it's not.

Yeah I talked to someone on the Lovehammers site and she said that happens a lot and that a date for MPLS should show up on there again and told me not to freak. I am not so sure one will show up again. I heard rumors they are going to move to CA so they can work with people out there to write there album the Lovehammers that is. So now this date in CA instead of MN. Hmmmmm I hope they come up with a date later in the tour maybe. Maybe they also decided that the Orpheum is too small which it is actually but I thought it would be more cozy if I could actually get a ticket. Well we wait and see and keep our fingers crossed for another MPLS/St Paul concert.

Hi there,
I became a SERIOUS FAN of Marty when I started watching "Rockstar", I am 36 yo and I grew up with INXS, I mean I went to 9 of INXS's concerts...I was in love with the band, and of course the music!!! I knew INXS inside and out as fan could be....I was sad when M.H. died...and then INXS was gone...until now, "Rockstar"...I had hope and I was SO EXCITED, until the end, they picked JD, NO KIDDING....the only ONE I couldn't stand.....I liked everyone, they all had unique talent, except for the one that stood out to me, that was MARTY CASEY, so beautiful, so sexy, so amazing, I wanted him so BAD, no one but my husband gave me this kind of feeling except for Marty,I mean I am really picky about men. (I am a retired model and married to a gorgeous man) I was doomed with the feeling of wanting another man....how could I go on, I thought...I know, I can go to every single INXS concert there is to get my fill of Marty.......RIGHT???.....WRONG,.....my god, how could they have not picked Marty,...he is PERFECT! The reason I am writing, is to tell you that I will not be supporting INXS and there new front, I could care less about INXS now, they have really disappointed me, but that is ok, it is Marty that I am supporting, and of course the SEXY LoveHammers. I would like to know when the LoveHammers come my way,.........AND I WILL BE THERE, as well as 30 or so of my friends & family!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Marty if you read this please, write me back!!! I love you

Welcome to the board. We all agree Marty is da bomb and we pretty much share your sentiments. However, you have posted this comment in the wrong place. It should be in the Marty's Fan Girls section and not in the Press Release. This was a discussion about the announced INXS concerts and obtaining tickets. Instead yours is full of what we call "Squee" over Marty. If I could move just one post from a thread, I would. But I won't delete the post just because you took the time and effort to write it and I know it means a lot to you. I do ask though if you are going to participate in the board that you try to help us out and post in the right category.

I know how you feel I don't really want to support INXS but the Lovehammers are touring with them so where INXS goes the Lovehammers will be for a certain amount of time anyway.
