I can't help much, because I just can't do that trip. But I can tell you I'm about 80 miles closer to Chicago than you are in NYC, and it would be a 16-hour drive (800 miles) each way for me! (I researched it weeks ago, and then I wept ...)
Another tidbit of info: Since DanD is the one coordinating the Marty Party plans, perhaps you can drop him a PM/e-mail to beg for more info. His e-mail address is floating around somewhere -- definitely on the RS:INXS/MSN message board in Marty's folder, and maybe here on the mc.org board.

P.S. Are you going to the Avery Fisher show in February? If you are and if you have any interest in getting together with other LH fans before the show or whatever, I'd be up for exploring those possibilities at some point. That's one gig I'll definitely be at! So far, there doesn't seem to be much shakin' in terms of plans for the NYC show. (Kind of makes me wish I were a Bostonian ... those folks are really getting their act together!)
