Ticketmaster: Get closer seats

Hello everyone
I was wondering if there is a way to change your ticketmaster tickets and get closer seats? It is kind of frustrating for me because I got my tickets presale and I actually ended up with seats that aren't too hot. I joined the INXS fan club deal to be able to buy tickets presale and -----> this meant to me = better seats than not being a fan club member.
So I already paid for the tickets and all, but I just want to be closer. (well, closer to Marty- ha ha) I'm attending the Oakland show.
Is there some way I can do a little switcheroo with Ticketmaster? I don't know- just need some thoughts

Buy closer seats then if they are available (there not in my cities., Vancouver and Seattle are sold out and Lincoln city is close to being)

Then sell your old tickets on craigslist or ebay.

If you want to take the chance wait till right before the concert. One thing we usually do is starting about a week before the concert start checking Ticketmaster. A lot of times they will release up close seats they had been holding for one reason or another.
A lot of times we've gotten anywhere from 1st row floor to 5th row floor within a day or two before the concert.
