I called first thing -- the guy said he couldn't sell them on the phone until tomorrow.

I don't blame you! The closer, the better. Good luck tomorrow.

I was a little concerned about the seats I got through the fan club presale, only because I've never been to that theater and I'm bringing my girls and I just want them to be able to see well enough.
My friend tried to get tickets today through the internet presale and she couldn't even get 4 seats together within the first 3 minutes of the sale!
I'm really glad I went through the fan club now. Hopefully, being a small venue, it won't be a problem for my girls to see, but at least I got us tickets!

Hey I just got 2 tickets in row G - way off to the side, but I took them. You're talking about Avery Fisher, right? What side? I got Row H orch, right side, on the aisle next to the center section. I had a wild ride with Wednesday's presale. Only singles and balcony seats were coming up just after 10 a.m., but orchestra came up Wednesday afternoon! Long story short, I'll probably have to sell some of my tix ... but Row H is a keeper!!!

My kids wanted to go too, but they may not be able to now. The Lincoln center site was actually giving out split seating, so I didn't buy anymore thru today's presale.

All you guys are so lucky no matter where your tickets are.!!! We down here in Australia may as well be in another galaxy as it will be FOREVER before the concert hits us. I am just jealous, but really hanging out for the tour dates for us in Oz so we can at least have some sort of countdown to look forward to. As yet we have nothing. Helen.

MSD2K Are you kidding me? Did you look at the seating chart? Row BB is awsome seating. The seating starts at AA after the orchestra pit and goes to PP and starts at A again. I 'm in row E way off to the left in section 1L because my work schedule kept me from getting online right away. I'd be suprised if you did better, but if you do, please give me the first chance to buy them from you. ;D Oh and here's the link to the chart. You did good, girl. www.thechicagotheatre.com/main_floor.htmCongrats on the great seats! I wanted to get 3 seats together, so I didn't do nearly as well. Question: I'm in section 3R, row M of the main floor at the Chicago Theatre. I see in your detailed Chicago Theatre seating chart (thanks btw) that there is a squiggly line near the row. Does this mean that we are directly under the balcony? Do you think that I'll have a problem with people dropping their beverages on us if this is the case?

So there will be a few of us Marty fans at Avery Fisher! I'm planning on making a trip to Trash & Vaudeville and picking up a T shirt to wear at the show (that's what Marty was wearing during "Don't Change" ).

Don't worry! I'm up there and I promise not to drop my drink on your head. You may want to look out for the drool though.

Does anyone know what the orchestra pit seats are like at the Chicago Theatre? I know it is right next to the stage, but are they below the main floor? I jumped on tickets in the second row, BBB, during this morning's pre-sale and realized after the fact that they are in the pit. Hope I bought the right thing.

OK...call me an unhappy camper, but they still had pit seating for TODAY'S presale and there were people who got row N YESTERDAY? That doesn't seem right. I'm perfectly happy with my CC seats...but if someone who didn't pay for a membership got pit seating, I might be a tad bitter. Pit seating is AWESOME. It's main floor, right next to the stage. They usually put up folding chairs in that area.

Thanks kelz4peaches – that makes my day!
Yeah, this entire pre-sale process has been nuts.
I am a member of the INXS club. Even though I was on-line right at when the pre-sale started, the seats I got on Wednesday sucked (middle of the 1st balcony, against the side wall). I was really bummed and REALLY pissed of at the INXS club and Ticketmaster.
I checked my email this morning at 8:50 and saw that I had an email from INXS.com letting me know that there was another pre-sale today at 9:00. I have no clue where that came from...
I was on-line at 9:00 and had the new seats by 9:02. Ticketmaster even refunded the ticket price of my original seats (not the processing fees of course).
I have no explanation for why I could not get good seats during the 1st pre-sale, but did during the 3rd. All I can think of is that they put a few good seats in every pre-sale, and I just got lucky this time. I'm thinkin my mother pulled a few strings from heaven because she wants me to be able to touch Marty, she always did like the tall, lean ones…LOL .

Aussie fan, I know how you feel - it's even WORSE being here in NZ. Reading all the posts about people getting tickets to SEE MARTY makes me . I sure hope by the time INXS tours Oz (cos I'll be hopping across the ditch) Marty will still be part of it.
