That's awesome Milly! How many tickets did you buy at once? I'm asking because I was on at 9:00 am as well (buying 3 tickets). I wonder if the number of tickets had something to do with it or if it was just luck.

xsiveone, I got three tickets as well. So it must have been luck. Milly! You are one lucky Marty fan! I couldn't be greener with envy if I tried!!!!!!! I'm in Boston and joined the venue club as well as INXS FC. I thought my venue got the best seats in the house so I was DESPERATELY hoping to get in the pit. I got ORCH B (7 rows from the stage) through INXS presale so I suppose things could be a lot worse, but I was SOOOOOOOO dead set on those pit tickets! As it turned out INXS had the pit tickets and the venue didn't have any pit. You cannot even imagine how bitter I am now! Bitter bitter bitter!!!!!!!!!! I was hoping to be so close I'd get pelted with Marty sweat! LOL. Somehow I don't think he'll be able to pelt it 7 rows ahead! No Marty sweat for me. Sad. Hahahah. Enjoy the pit Milly!

xsiveone, I got three tickets as well. So it must have been luck. I guess I don't have any luck. First, I missed the Metro show. I missed the first pre-sale by 10 minutes. For the second pre-sale, I didn't find out the password until it was too late. On the day of the sale, I was online right when the tickets were "supposed" to go on sale, gave up and then later found out that the tickets didn't go on sale until a half hour later. By that time, it was too late.

Aussiefan and Vulcannet, I am flying from Hong Kong to Chicago for the show -- a tradition my sister and I started last spring to see U2 when it became apparent that only the US and Europe were listed on the tours. Hopefully LH and INXS will make their way to our hemisphere so that everyone in Asia, Oz and NZ can join in the insanity. All I know is teh jet lag better be worth it -- it was for U2!

I'm very sad cuz I can't go. :'(I can't fly due to illness and they are not coming south any time soon. >:(I will have to live vicariously through everyone else but it will NEVER, NEVER be the same as going. :-/I might as well live half way across the world, or on top of Mt. Everest for as close as I will get.

Wow, lots of great seats! I'm so happy for ALL of you!! I was adivised by my local venue box office that I would have better luck purchasing my tickets directly from them. We shall see.....hmmmm...hope they meant that. Wondering what time I should show up in the morning since the sale starts at 10:00 am. Would go pitch a tent tonight or sleep in my car but my children might not like that!
What time would you go?? I have butterflies!

Chk, thanks for the sentiments. I'm sure you'll manage the jet lag for Marty! I had seriously thought of getting myself off to the US, but my life is getting in the way of my obsession ;D . Hoping to catch him and LH in Oz. I hope you have an absolutely fantastic time and please, report back and tell us all about it!

re. eBay price for Aragon Ballroom show ... that price is idiotic, and apparently people are smart enough not to waste their time bidding.

Got my Wang Center/Boston tickets this morning (didn't wanna buy a club membership to INXS or the Wang) and still did pretty well...2 tickets, seat 29 & 31 (they are next to each other), row DD in the orchestra. If I remember the seating style of the theater I should be able to see the Lovehammers well enough.

Here in Oregon the tour is playing at a casino in Lincoln City on the Oregon Coast. Its a pretty small venue - the bingo room of the casino! They're playing 2 nights here. Through the fanclub I got a pair of presale seats in the 3rd row but right against the wall, at least those seats face the stage. I tried the general sale today and got a pair of seats at one of the bingo tables - 8 people per table and you have to look over your shoulder to see the stage LOL!. You'd think they would move the tables out of the way for a show but they don't. Maybe the arrangement of seats is typical of a casino show, don't know - haven't been to many casinos. www.chinookwindscasino.com/Entertainment/documents/2005SeatingChart.pdfThis makes me wonder what this talk was about them playing in front of 100,000 people - I think this place might have 2000 seats. Not complaining - I'm grateful that I can go and am so excited to be able to see Marty and the Lovehammers! I checked a ticket reseller site just now and someone with the same seat section (must have been from the fan presale) is selling their $50 seats for $200 each. Ouch! www.ticketsnow.com/tickets.cfm/p=300548

Yay! I called Chinook Winds Casino this morning to buy tickets, and they said they could take my name and call me after the line standing outside was through, which they estimated would take 45 minutes. Or I could go to a local outlet, which turned out to be the Safeway 4 blocks from my house. I got row E, which is table seating. Not the best seats, but I'm satisfied. ;D
