The concert was everything that all of you have said & then some.

I am so happy and envious of you that got to meet the guys. My friend and I watched the show from the balcony but because we did not have any passes for the after party we were asked to leave.

Now after hearing everyone's stories I think we just missed him outside before the show and I think while we were waiting on the balcony before we got kicked out Marty was downstairs in the gift shop. The sad thing is we did meet Blackout and get pics and autographs with them in the hallway outside the gift shop. For all I know Mary may have been in there while I was just outside the door and I did not notice him.

Oh well I guess it was not meant to be. I do have a ticket to the Aragon show so I hope I will get to meet the guys there!!! So send good thoughts my way & for others who did not get to meet them either.

I feel your pain. Same here! From what I've read I was standing about 30 feet from him but it was very crazy and I just missed him. I still have my Bobby hug.

No regrets though! I've already cried about this one!

Just to be there and experience the energy these guys have is incredible. I have to go the Aragon. Anybody have any extra tickets?

Oh, and here's my pic with marty... for some reason before we took the pic, he decided to look at me and not the camera. He held that gaze for what felt like eternity. Such a sweet man. It was funny cause he said he heard about me giving my students extra credit for voting for him... lol. So many other things I would have liked to have said, but that is why there is Aragon. LOL.

Somehow at that moment I had him all to myself. So I seized the moment and said the one thing the first thing that came to me. I said, "that's okay because as long as I can hear your voice I'm happy." He turned to me and looked right at me, into my eyes and said (yes there words are forever burned in my memory) "Come here and give me some love". He pulled me in and gave me a hug and a kiss

Poet you are my new hero, good GOD woman how did you maintain your composure? If it was me I would've passed out...My hands were shaking just reading about it...I can only dream that some day I'll have a story to share...61 days and counting

I am going to get there early and hang around after the shows. In fact lets go on a LH hunt during INXSs set. LOL

Honestly, I remain shocked that I maintained my composure while I was talking to Marty. It says so much more about him than it does me. He exudes an energy, a vibe that simply makes you feel very comfortable in his presence. The moment was very unexpected. I doubt he has any idea what an incredible gift those words were to me. I was more touched by the fact that he seemed genuinely affected by what I said and replied as he did than I was by the physical contact. Does that make me wierd? Of course, I'm not saying his hug was anything but warm and firm or his lips were anything but soft.

I really didn't intend to make anyone cry with my story. I do appreciate the sentiment though. Three days later, I still feel this amazing energy moving through me. I honestly believe that while Marty asks for your energy while he performs, he gives back so much more.

Don't miss your chance to see LH perform. There's simply nothing like it. Had i not met him, I still would have left the experience very happy. He gives so much while he is on stage.
