I'm pathetic. I am actually watching WGN News - the syndicated Chicago station hoping for a tidbit, knowing full well that it is only 9:30 pm there right now. They did get me, though. I about fell out of my chair. They said - when we come back the return of Marty.....I'm thinking hell yeah the return of Marty to Chicago, but then it was - The Return of Mardi Gras - LOL!  Thats so funny!! |

I've been so good ... I stayed in the kitchen all night, coooking for Thanksgiving, concentrating on food and only breaking into a grin once in a while when I'd think "Oh, they're hitting the stage about now" or "Maybe they're in the middle of the 'Trees' shoot at this moment" or even just "Yay! They're really at the Metro tonight!" Finally I got the squash into the oven and hustled over to the laptop, eager for the early news.
Nothing! Well, almost nothing.
On the LH board, one poster mentioned camera-phone pics from Metro that have been posted on yet another board. That's all, folks? Has anybody heard anything yet that we can sink our teeth into?? Pretty-please?

We are definitely insane. . . all of us excited about a concert we are not even going to. I think we spend way too much time here. If y'all just weren't so much FUN . . . OK, I have a tidbit from Adrenochrome from over at the LH website where we're all having a cry party. She wrote: "Marty has climbed the lighting tower and, from the cellphone pic I saw, it appears he hung by his knees up there. I'm not sure what song that was on. Right now they're doing another run-through of Trees for the video shoot. He's teaching people in the audience the lyrics so they can all sing along."Oh I SO want to be there right now. I want to be  with Marty and The Lovehammers and all of YOU. Right now, I'm just feeling like someone who hasn't been invited to the party . even blurry marty looks incredible. am trying to control feelings of jealousy and will instead be happy that fellow/sister hammerheads got to be there! btw does anyone else think it odd that mc had to teach the audience the lyrics to Trees? Who doesn't know it by now?  |

Concert is over, more news from Adrenochrome at the LH website:
"From mona again: Marty wore eyeliner, Dino looked really sexy, they gave lots of autographs and hugs. Songs included Straight as an Arrow, the Riddle, Clouds, Rain on The Brain, Eyes Can't See, the Tunnel, This Town, plus whatever I mentioned in the "pout pout cry cry" thread."
