that's 100% more than I could have said! I think MC would find it hard to believe I was an intelligent and even sometimes funny person if we met cause I think I'd be completely dumbstruck!

My friend assures me that I was all cool. He said he was impressed by how well I held it together (considering he knows what a lunatic I am about Marty). But I'm not sure I believe him, because he also told me my hair looked great.
He was like the best concert buddy EVAH. He kept telling me that it was my night, so wherever I wanted to go, whatever I wanted to do was just fine with him. He got the good spot in the front and traded with me, so I could see better. Then he brought me beers all night so I wouldn't have to move.
I SO need to take him out for a pizza or something. In Italy.

a big ^5 friends....without my friend I wouldn't have the autograph Friends are the best!! I have no clue how to repay my friend, this is the biggest thing anyone has ever done for me so paying her back is gonna be hard

penny, mike sounds like a dream concert date... my husband once balanced his checkbook at a concert (8th row Peter Gabriel) so I have banned him from attending with me unless he promises to enjoy himself and not judge me for having a good time! He was allowed at Sting (front row) but not invited to U2. For that, I went with my sister who seems to have a firmer grip on her sanity than I have! She also held my hand when we tried to meet Bono --if hse hadn't I might be floating above Chicago still!

Hi all who want to hear about the metro! My neice and I flew from CA to see marty at the metro because we also have family around there, so why not, it was awsome, he looked
awsome grey and white pin striped pants, black shirt, lots of eye makeup, great energy all
through the night, he even walked through the crowd right where we were and my neice
got to press up against his hard body, and then my turn, I gave him a half hug and ran my]
hand across his chest and grabbed the back of his hair as he walked through singing the song
I was never more excited in my whole life, I thought I would die! I also had marty I love you
written on my hands in black marker and I hope when they filmed the video it shows my hands I think he saw it, and looked right at me at one point. they played all the good songs
from there two cds, we all really rocked out, the only thing that was a bummer was there were some chicago women around us who thought they owned the floor and were really mean to us, and yelled at us everytime we got pushed into them, which was not are doing,
I mean come on you are on the floor at a concert you will be knocked into right! man CA people know these things and are nice about it, I was shocked at there witchy ways. anyway
I can't stop thinking about how hot and entertaining marty is on stage, can't wait to see him
again, and I will over and over again!

OMG.....awesome pics...thanks so much for sharing them. I would have loved to have been there.......and for all the women that got to touch him (oh dear god, butt rubs......) you are soooooooooooo lucky.....i'm soooooooo jealous........Wish I could catch a show......maybe someday.

THANK YOU SOOOOOO MUCH for all the pics and details about your experiences there!!!!! Keep them coming. It sounds like it was a blast! I would not have been able to talk and probably would have dropped to the ground and passed out from MC's presence!!!! I want to cry but am so happy for you guys! Hope they plan on coming to TX soon. Trying to convince hubby to take me to the Vegas show but he keeps reminding me how much I never liked INXS ever. But I say I want to go for the Lovehammers and then we can leave after when INXS starts to play. Keep all the details coming!!!!!!! You guys are so LUCKKKYYYY!!!!!!!

I can’t get over my feeling about this show. I’m in NJ and no where near Chicago but I was there in spirit. All week I kept counting down to a show I wasn’t going to. Then I couldn’t wait to hear every detail. It all sounds so amazing!!  Thank you to everyone (esp. Penny) with all their stories. And when I read Marty was wearing a mc.org wristband I screamed out loud. Over and over again I am reminded why I love this guy and I’m so glad I’ve been introduced to this band.  I hear ya, sister. I'm in Nova Scotia and I was counting down the days to the Metro Show. I was feeling so excited Wednesday night -- even though I was in my flat watching Lost, not in Chicago watching Lovehammers. I'm bummed that I couldn't go, but I was looking forward to hearing about it and seeing some photos from the show. It's the next best thing to being there. Have you seen the photos in the Metro Review thread on the General Board of the LH site? There are some amazing close-ups of Marty. His eyes are so blue. (sigh) |

We are working diligently on getting things posted for you about the Metro on the site. Be just a bit patient and we will have some initial photos and commnets hopefully later this morning.
BTW, we did have a pro photographer there for the site to shoot Marty and the band.... but we will not have his photos until next week as he had to leave immediately after the show for family holiday plans. So I am expecting some really great shots for you all early next week. In the meantime we are posting fan shot photos. If anyone wants to send either Amy or myself a few of their photos to post on the website itself, that would be cool. Just make sure you tell us 1) who to credit for the photo and 2) who is in the photo and how you want them named (by user name or real name--can be just first name, first name last initial or full name...it is your choice.)

Wow, Cindy. I can't believe you had a photographer there. Once again, thank you Cindy and Amy (and everyone) for all you do at mc.org. So thankful. And I can not wait to see those photos.
Were you able to get one of you and Marty? If he even knew half of what you do for his fan base, he would want to thank you personally. (And maybe then we would hear one tiny little 'squee' out loud ; ) )
