I have only heard Use Me twice...I don't remember the lyrics...can someone post them...I am intrigued now...
I love the opening verse of Clinic...and...
Oh god...the opening verse of Say You're Sorry...
"I can't be for certain that she exists as a person, yet she's sleeping in my bed" in Confusion...
I love that song...one of my faves to sing along with.
Having said all of that...there are moments in all of the songs...
..."weightless, I can't take this. So much pleasure, almost cures the pain..." Velvet...pick a line, any line
All of the songs are damn good. I hope the world is ready 'cos these guys are going to be huge!!

From Rain on the Brain did I fail to mention life is moving faster times I feel like my mind is going to break I am losing feeling no longer dream in color times i feel like it's raining on my brain memories of you still stand strong memories of me were gone all along The first time I heard this song I felt like it was screaming at me to wake up. Being a stay at home Mom I feel lost in my family and wonder where the wild child I use to be went too. Rain on the Brain feels like Marty wrote it for me. In a way he did because it moved me to change things and find that girl I was and not let myself slip away. So thanks to all here who let me be that "girl".  Nicely said. Thank you, Marty for waking me up in so many ways! I am so thankful that my persistent son made me watch this certain reality show called RS. My favorite lyrics are from "Clouds" basically "You were there to save me from everything" and "Say Your Sorry" , Let yourself fall, Fall into me, Drown yourself in my body, Hide, hide, you feelings deep. I love all the the words in those songs. It's like so many LH songs fit me to a "T". Kind of SCARY! At least the ones that I have heard. |
