Very Cool! I wish I lived closer to Chicago so I could go to more shows. But that really is awesome that they 'sold out' the show? Are any of us surprised? LOL

I'm only surprised that it didn't sell out faster.
Yay Lovehammers!

The only thing better would be if OAR couldn't show up for some reason, and we got the LH for the whole night! Sorry to any OAR fans- I want a much longer LH show...

Have you checked out OAR? I never heard of them before I bought the tickets to the Aragon show to see Marty and the Lovehammers. I checked out their website, got hooked looking around, bought the cd, and they are a fantastic band! This night is really going to be some great music. So, who's opening for who?

I actually listened to some of their clips on-line and I wasn't all that impressed. But I hope my opinion is changed at the show. I heard that Lovehammers go on first because they are not the headliner. Apparently, OAR is the headliner (when they were all booked originally, OAR was a signed band and Lovehammers were not) and will close the show. Regardless, I am very excited about the show! I'm thinking the crowd will be very heavy with Hammerheads!

It's official, my DH "gave" me the Aragon Lovehammers tickets for my birthday on Thanksgiving. Of course, I did the shopping, LOL, but just getting him to agree to come is a gift itself, and he wrapped them up for me to open in front of the kids. My 11 year old son pouted all night, because he's not invited, but he's the one who learned all about Marty on RS and loves the music. There's a chance I'll bring him to Chicago Theater in Feb to see INXS, but that depends on his grades this quarter.
So how did you guys find out about VIP tickets and meet and greet for the Metro? Will there be an opportunity for that at the Aragon?

I'm desparately searching for one ticket to the show on Dec. 16 at the Aragon Ballroom. I saw Lovehammers Wednesday at the Metro and I must see them again soon. If anyone has an extra ticket, please send me a PM. It's not often the universe lines things up in a way that allows me to go to Chicago to see a show, but that has happened. All I need is a ticket.

Billy had posted on the LH site that the band was going to try and do meet and greets for all the shows. Billy also made the announcement on the LH site about the party at the smart bar after the show for all the fans. I would imagine they will be doing a meet and greet at the Aragon. Also, Dino had stated on the LH board the Aragon show will be a 75 minute set.
