I am going to the Jacksonville show and got pretty good tickets, I think(never been to this venue). They are Orchestra section 300 row U (21st row) right in front of the stage...I thank my wonderful husband because he was at the computer right at 10am Tuesday to buy them for me while I was at work without access to a puter. I think I could have done better myself, but alas I am sooooooooo grateful cause I was totally scared of being shut out like so many others!!!!!!

Rockfan, I was thinking of going to Charlotte, but NYC was cheaper for me. I hope your seats are a good view...Row F seems like it would be.....

Looking at the virtual tour of the auditorium, they look fine and for $60 a piece, they better be good. I was trying for center section but nothing was available. I could try again tomorrow and see what happens. ;D

Rockfan, do you really think you can do better? I mean, it looks like you are in row 6.....very cool. As for your $60 charge....I have to pay roundrtip airfare to NYC, hotel room, and paid $130 for 2 tickets....at least you are in the same town as the concert....BTW if you get better seats on Sat will you sell your rowF ones? I might be interested....but would have to beg on the street to cover expenses to Charlotte! No matter what, I hope we both gave a grand time!!!! Please wish for no big snow storms our concert dates.....do you even get snow storms in Charlotte?

Please wish for no big snow storms our concert dates.....do you even get snow storms in Charlotte? I know that sounds bad. 6 or so rows back people would kill for. My goal was center but when I saw row F but right of center, I had to go ahead and get them. The presale tickets for INXS fan club members were not good at all so I am glad I waited. Charlotte does have snow and ice storms which occur in February so with my luck, we will have snow/ice on the day of the concert. Good luck with your weather cooperating. ;D PS - the price we pay to see our Marty is still worth it. I do feel sorry for you having to pay all that extra to see him but I know it will be worth it.

hey rockfan: i'll be over in the left of center section (fits my politics too ;->!) -- i got row K, 11 rows back, & i was hoping for closer (damn my fumbling fingers!) but i'm happy -- esp. cuz i'm right on the inside aisle in seats 1 & 2 (look out stage -- i'm coming 4 ya!). what seats are you in? and how did you get to that virtual tour of the auditorium? (i'm obviously not paying enough attention when i'm ordering!)

That virtual tour is at ovensauditorium.com then click promoters guide. Then look for "click here" for virtual tour. ;D

rockfan, you are very savvy! found the link & took a spin around the room -- would like to be in row F myself -- you should have a great view! i'm gonna check the public sale in the morning, but at least it's a pretty small hall (really small, in fact -- our marty could sell out about 10x that many seats, if you ask me!). i'll be content if nothing better is available. see ya at the show!

That virtual tour makes it look like a movie theater. I don't think you could have really bad seats in that place. Even those up along the wall in orchestra have a good view. I am happy I got row F, but like you, I will still check the public sale tomorrow but I don't think my luck will bring me any closer. If so, I could always sell them. ;D

Educatedvenus, there are a lot of hotels not too far from Lincoln Center. Your biggest concern will be price, especially because it's Valentine's Day weekend. The hotels around Central Park are very expensive. Times Square, which is not too far, is very noisy. You also have to decide if you are okay with riding the subway, want to be within walking distance, or want to take a cab. Try to find something on the west side, near 66th Street. Any of the online travel sites will show you lots of choices. You can also PM me if you want, and I can help from this end (I'm in NYC).
Vstreamer, I had two seats in row K and the Lincoln Center system froze when I tried to confirm my purchase ... I wonder if you got them instead! That would be too funny, especially because I think you were having problems the last time. I wound up with seats in Row V. I'm going both nights! And also to Mohegan Sun! Do you think I'm turning into a Marty Addict?
Some people up thread are talking about the price of the tickets. $60 is cheap for concert tickets, especially these days! I'm thrilled that I didn't have to spend $100! And 6th row is fantastic.
