Unfortunately I don't have any rumours about LH tour outside US and Canada, ie with INXS.
But I bet Hammerheads living in Australia, New Zealand, S. America, Europe or EvenAsia are waiting with bated breath for some info about when and possibly if the delightful Marty Casey and his fabulous band the Lovehammers are going to tour abroad.
So feel free to post here or speculate people as soon as you hear anything!

Australians, and probably New Zealanders, may be reassured to hear that when I emailed the LHs asking about Oz tour, they said soon, very soon! Nothing specific but looks like they are indeed preparing to tour abroad with INXS.

And if they only make it as far as Oz that's okay, it's close enough for me, nothing will keep me away. Thanks for the info Sozl, imagine seeing Marty in the flesh!!

I was even considering getting on a plane from Australia to America to see the Lovehammers play (and go to the drag races while at it) but I will sit tight for now and wait to hear more about an Aussie tour.

Know what you mean, I was seriously considering it too, but I just have a gut feeling our patience will be rewarded.

Wow, that's dedication, or is it obsession, or just old fashioned love! I had also been wondering how to go to the US, and while I'll be there next year, I may even miss them if they're on world tour. No cancel that thought. Glad you're all getting ready!

Anyone done the Scavenger Hunt?
I've just submitted mine and now I'm furiously trying to work out how I could wangle time off work and family commitments to get to Chicago in three weeks if I won!!
Some lucky person's gonna win those tickets and I really want it to be me (hope I answered all the questions right!)

As you can tell by my name, I live in Scotland. I have been spreading the word and the IS an ever growing number of fans in this country. Let me make it clear, I am not a fan of INXS (neither do I hate them or anything else so sad) but MC and the LH, now that's a different matter!
C'mon Marty, get the band across to UK and in particular SCOTLAND.
Thanks for making RS:INXS worth watching...

BIG NEWS BREAKING STORY FOR AUSSIE FANS. INXS PLAN TO TOUR AUSTRALIA IN AUGUST 2006Reading an article in The Herald Sun newspaper just now. Sax player Kirk Pengilly said the band would start touring Canada in January with new singer J.D. Fortune. "Hopefully we will be down in Australia in August." he said. This is a copy of one of the paragraphs from todays newspaper. How exciting is that, I now have a month I can count down to!! Roll on August 2006 Cheers, Helen.

Here is a brief transcript of my email correspondance with the INXS representative who replies to emails at info@inxs.com: sozl: Hi there, I love the new INXS with JD Fortune and sneak peak at Switch. [suck] I have heard from interview questions by Kirk that INXS hope to make their Australian tour in Aug 2006. Can you confirm this? And also whether it would include any neighbouring countries, eg Asia and/or New Zealand. I also would like to know if The Lovehammers are confirmed as the support act here, not just in North America. I have many, many friends dying to know the answers to these questions! inxs rep: Of course everything is subject to change, but at present what KP states is the current plan. We are still confirming details for other countries in the pan-Asia region.
We cannot confirm any information regarding Marty & The Lovehammers.
Many thanks for your continued support! Sorry to cast any doubt on the LH but I think it is just something the representative was not in the position to confirm at this stage. We will have to be patient. But at least other countries in the Pacific region are being included, and I'm sure Europeans will be too.

Here is something from a friend who went to the Metro and was kind enough to ask the boys this: I asked Bobby if the LH were going to continue on the tour (after the current shows). He said that he did not know. He said the Australian something promoter/manager, etc?) wanted them to, but it was up to the band (I assumed he meant INXS)

I must admit I'm getting a LITTLE bit worried. Thanks for that bit of info Sozl. At the moment feel like I'm sittin in the middle of a thorn bush - which way should I jump - take the plunge and catch them in the US, or wait and hope for them to come downunder? What to do

Hi vulcanet, I'm right in the middle of that thorn bush with ya, which way to go? Fly over or wait it out We could always fly over and catch them in the USA and then when they come down under see them again, how cool would that be, just gotta find the $$$$ to get over there! With all the questions being asked about an Aussie/NZ/Asia tour you would think we should get some positive conmfirmation soon. Cheers, Helen.

Cheers, Helen. Hi there aussiefan, Yes I am seriously considering going over now. I'm wondering if LH DON'T end up touring outside the US with INXS, will they tour outside on their own, or with some other band/s? That thorn bush just gets more prickles!! But yes, I think going anyway and catching them again maybe is the best plan, just to be sure! Lucky for me I do have some $$$ saved, my problem is all about time. Shame to miss the '05 shows, don't think tour shows will/can be as intimate. Keep on it

aussiefan,
sitting here thinking we could/should get a group together and do it. Pick a concert where tix are available and meet up with some of our mc.org sistas. What do you think?
I'm off with my family next week to the gold coast - it has been planned for such a long time and is RIGHT in the middle of the two Chicago shows. That's why I couldn't get to either of them.
Man I was so upset about the timing of that - still I will enjoy the sunshine at surfers.
