Wow - you guys are awesome! Great pics, great stories! I'm glad you enjoyed your first trip to Chicago, Amy! I'm really looking forward to seeing the professional pics that your photographer got. WOW!

Alert alert! The vintage wristband/bracelet that I gave Marty has been spotted. SHR posted a photo of herself with Marty over on the Lovehammers board and you can see it clear as a bell. However, it is on his left wrist. Now I could have sworn I put it on his right wrist....but either I am mistaken or he moved it to his left wrist.
I have emailed SHR and asked her if I can post the photo on the site so I can point it out to everyone....so we will wait and see if I can.
Thanks to all who have emailed me looking for the wrist!!
BTW, I must sound like a complete kook to seem so focused on a wrist when the whole package is so attractive.... he really has beautiful eyes, a great smile and is just lovely lovely all around.

Thank you for posting the Metro page! It's really fun to see everyone's pictures, so thank you too to all of you photographers!
Just saw the email you posted from the WLUP producer. He's got an awesome sense of humor about his injury. What a hoot!

Cindy and Amy, thanks so much for posting your personal stories and for the pictures. I tried to find the two of you up in the balcony area (heard that's where you were) with no success. I wanted to thank the two of you in person for the excellent job you do maintaining this website. I was thrilled to read you had hired a professional photographer - can't wait to see the pictures (especially since I forgot to bring my camera - I was so upset about that). I'm glad the two of you got to meet Marty and his family. Thanks again for your posts.

Just now catching up on the Metro news....having been away for Thanksgiving and just back now to get online and read about it..... Thanks Cindy & Amy....for the excellent reporting, pics and news....amazing job as always....Marty is lucky to have you spreading the love on this website in such a classy way..... I am still reading thru all the fan postings...I am overwhelmed with all the info....and the pictures I have seen thus far are.....fantastic.... many thanks to ALL who shared their experiences.... |
