(...and shouldn't you be spelling your name POLERfan now that you are planning on doing some extracurricular vaulting? LOL)  That never even crossed my mind...I think I've gotta buy you a beer or something at San Manuel  Maybe I'd better have your back at San Manuel, too - pole vault, beer, Marty - sounds wicked to me ... like a combination for disaster.... I'm up for the beer and Marty part, will leave the vaulting to you, Polerfan.... Daughter is going, too, she's always liked INXS - teaching her a crash course in Marty/Lovehammers 101. She's a quick teach...but it IS such a great course to teach...the visuals are spectacular, aren't they? ;D |

I'm in for Gibson. I just got my ticket off Ebay. I had been trying to convince friends to go with and no one was agreeing to go. I guess some of my friends really are middle-aged even though I don't feel that way! Then the tickets were sold out and I was thinking oh no why did I wait so long. Thursday I thought Screw it--I'll go by myself and decided to try ebay. Which ended up not being as expensive as I thought it might be. Haven't been to a concert on my own in 20 years but I know it will be blast regardless. Couldn't pass up the opportunity. Did I just tell you all that? Oh well--after seeing the posts from the Metro and Aragon show I'm so excited for January 27!

I'm going to San Manuel with my sister. We're just a few minutes from the casino and can't wait for the 26th! My birthday is the 24th (when the new album comes out) so this is going to be a great birthday for me!

I'm going to Pala. I live right near it. I will also try for San Manuel tickets, since that's close to my parents... or LA, or Las Vegas. Those are all close enough to my parents, that it would not be that long a drive (they live sort of in the middle of it all  ). |

Hubby is pretty conservative, so I'm not even going to ask. He popped for good seats at Gibson but would never understand the desire to hit the Viper Room. I'm about 20 years too old to party like that anyway (but never too old to rock & roll!). |

I'm going to both. I'm going solo to both shows so if anyone wants to meet up--let me know. I'm so psyched. We get to see what they do in a 3000 seat set up and then a small club like the viper room. My birthday is that Monday--what a great birthday present!

I got 2...and now after reading that Rockbeast is in there...my sister is actually planning on staying for the whole thing! So cool. I definitely think we should all meet up after the Gibson show and at least follow each other to the Viper Room. We need a plan of attack when we get in. All MC.org peeps need to be up front.

hey....i coming in from Rockford,IL....not far from Marty's hometown.... have always wanted to see the Viper Room sure couldn't pass up this chance....especially with Marty and the guys there....  i am coming alone and hoping to hook up with others.... should be an awesome mini-vacation....thurs - sun.... hope the weathers great!!!!! |

I don't have anything to do with spa equipment--which is what the name ended up looking like! I laughed when I realized. I was thinking that we'd all have to be leaving early from Gibson to get a good spot at the Viper Room. I hadn't planned on walking out on INXS--before the Viper Room came up--but now to get a good spot at the VR--I guess I will be leaving early (no protest intended) just somewhere better to go.  |
