Okay, I am just wondering if any of you guys going to future concerts have given any thought of what you will be bringing just in case you run into one of the band members and can get an autograph?
I'm thinking most of you will have better ideas than me.
Another question for concert goers - will you be attempting to take photos? I know a lot of these venues on the INXS tour do not allow cameras.

I WAS SO DISAPPOINTED AFTER GOING TO THE SHOW AT THE METRO TO READ HOW THE BANDMEMBERS HUNG OUT TO SIGN AUTOGRAPHS... AND WE BOLTED AFTER THE SHOW. THEY DON'T CALL ME RHONDUH... FOR NOTHING. I WOULD TAKE ANYTHING CD, TSHIRT (THEY'LL BE SELLING THEM THERE). KEEP IN MIND THE BAND HAD HUNG AROUND AFTER THE TINLEY PARK SHOW TOO.... THEY ARE VERY ATTENTIVE AND SUPPORTIVE OF THEIR FANS!! ;D

I am going to bring the CD insert (w/lyrics, photos, etc)large index cards, ticket stub, etc, and a sharpie, just in case. I am going to try to sneak in a camera. I will do what Jodieca did and stick it down in my pants ;D I bought this mini digital camera and need to check it out for picture quality. If it stinks, I will stuff my other digital in there. I may bring both and put one inside my boots. I don't know what kind of security check they have but hopefully I will get my camera back if I get caught.

DEFINITELY bring a sharpie - maybe even a couple of them in case one gets lost. It's the best to have anything signed. Bring your cameras no matter what - what do you have to lose??? Worse case scenario they take it, & you get it back after the show. You may not be able to take pictures DURING the shows, but if there IS a meet & greet afterwards or you run into Marty & the rest of the gang while they are setting up... (Penny & ChiTownChick's hubby did!) you will definitely want your cameras. Don't have regrets!! There's always camera phones, too. Bring your CD inserts & not the cases so you have more room. Wear your Lovehammers t-shirts & other gear...if you get to meet up with them, they WILL sign your stuff, I'm sure of it! Another thing I saw was people made signs (not sure if only allowed due to the smaller venue) & you can also print up some nice photos & get a gold or silver sharpie for them to sign. And last but not least, I have recommended to the real fanatics - if you get your self signed (chest, shoulder, arm, wherever!) you can then go get it tatooed over, OR take superglue & pour it over the signatures & then peel it off, the signature should transfer with it (practice this with different pens) hee hee Good luck everyone! CAN'T WAIT to hear everyone's stories after each concert! ~Jodie

Thanks for all the great (and funny) suggestions! My top two choices would be ticket stub and CD, but my tickets are the e-mail kind you print and I don't have any hard copies of the CDs. I just downloaded the songs and for whatever reason I have my heart set on buying the CDs at the concert. Of course, it dawned on me (after I started this thread) that I will in fact have a CD - their new one! So that's what I'll bring and a Sharpie. ~~~~ The camera thing - I really really want to bring one. I've been looking around and do have my eyes on some of the mini ones - especially the ones advertised as "credit card" size. Don't know if they really work

I may bring two - one good digital and one disposable kind of camera just in case.

That's what I'm afraid of that the less expensive, smaller ones probably won't take good quality photos inside the venue at all because of the darkness and the movement.

I was watching the Cribs portion from the Live/Raw DVD and there's a part where Dino shows off his Nikki Sixx autograph on a copy of the lyrics for Home Sweet Home.
I thought what a great idea to print off the lyrics to a fave LH song and have that autographed.
So that's another option, but it will be hard to pick a favorite song!

I don't know which one I'd pick though. I have so many favourites. The lyrics of "Use Me" really get to me. I might choose that one. I also love it when Dino shows us his walk-in closet with his one pair of pants. I love Dino. He is so funny.

My camera is so going with me, man. Perhaps I can set cherry bombs off to cause a distraction.

A sharpie is Key!! All we could find at the metro was a pen, and a sharpie would have been so much better. I will remember to pack a few--although I don't want to bring my purse--I'll have to shove it somewhere:)

I wouldn't advise the superglue trick ... it's not that easy to peel off, and you could lose some skin in the process.
