OK. No confirmation as to whether or not Lovehammers will be opeining for INXS. What we do have is speculation that the boys are being offered spots on other tours. Personally I would love to see them open for a band other than INXS (as long as this said band hasn't already started selling tickets- ok, I'm selfish ;D). My pick would be Foo Fighters, but they are touring w/ Weezer at the moment. Who would you like to see Lovehammers open for?

I sure hope we get confirmation soon. I already jumped the gun and joined the INXS fan club for $24.95 just so I could have opportunity to buy pre-release tickets next week. I'll be if I wasted my $$ and it turns out Lovehammers not opening for them. This morning I went on a chat room for INXS fans only and asked if anybody knew if Lovehammers was opening for INXS and got "who cares" and "lol" as responses. Those JD fans are rude. Total Hammerhead

I would loove to see LH open for anyone besides INXS. Then I don't have to play nice with them anymore!! >:(I know that they want worldwide exposure, but I am selfish and would like to see them do a really good tour of U.S. first!!! And I don't like INXS music, never did. Would have only liked it w/Marty changin it up.

The Fall Brawl Tour came to mind as a possibility. Staind and POD are on the bill. Fall Brawl Tour

ok...off topic here...why do people dislike Creed so much? Is it because of Scott Stapp? I really like their music....some of my fave songs are Creed songs.

That would be a kick-ass show. How about all 3 bands? ETA: Creed...yup it's the Scott Stapp thing. Blech.

I'd love to see the LH do a double bill with Chevelle (another awesome Chicago band). I think that they'd really compliment each other.

I've heard of chevelle before, but don't remember where, are they Indie? I'm pretty sure they were played a lot in Massachusetts., I do remember that I liked them a lot.

Why people dislike Creed? I do, and give the reasons here.
1 - Because Scott Stapp is a FAKE and can't sing 2 - Because he wants to be the Christian Rock messiah and he's full of....drugs and other things 3 - Because he is a wifebeater 4 - Because they are lame and their music sucks
The only Marty song I did not download was With Arms Wide Open.

Ok, just putting my 2 cents here and I mean no offense to any Creed fans. With their first CD, they were hard and heavy. I loved it. In fact, had to buy another tape cuz we wore the first one out. Their 2nd cd came out....more mellow, and not even close to the 1st cd. By the 3rd one I completely gave up. If their 2nd and 3rd cd would have been like the first one, I would have liked them much better. Like I said, just my opinion, and I hope I didnt offend anyone.

Yes, I remember hearing "send the pain below" a lot. I like that song, like their style. I will check out that link because since I've moved to FLA I haven't heard anything new from them. I lived in Mich till I was 15 then moved south, then moved back north 13 yrs ago and moved back south 1 year ago, one thing that I've noticed with all my friends is that the rock is much harder up north than south. It's starting to come lower now that soo many people are relocating from the north. YEA!!! Sorry for the ramble, thanks for the info.

Some huge band out there is going to get brilliant, and realize that getting LH to open would is a no-brainer. LH with MC already has a built-in following, and people want to see a great band open, not a bunch of nobodies. And the fans will be thrilled to see LH AND some other great band. I think it's safe to say that most of us here, don't care about seeing INXS at all.

Oh, and I forgot to say, Beantown, I TOTALLY agree with your pick of Foo Fighters. I've been thinking that myself for a while, mostly because everytime I hear one of their songs, I can totally picture Marty singing it!

I just listened again to Susan's interviews on radio. The 3OCT he definitely said to Kathy they were the opening act of INXS. The next interview he told Cara in 3 weeks they would be on a tour and would soon announce it. Maybe the LoveHammers are going to do a short tour in Nov and Dec and then join INXS when their tour opens in January.

-snip- I think it's safe to say that most of us here, don't care about seeing INXS at all. Not so safe--I'd like to see INXS; I liked them in the 80's and I still do. I do think it might be better for the Lovehammers to open for a different band, though, since their styles are nothing alike. A Lovehammers/Foo Fighters concert would be an incredible lineup.

Yes, LH with Foo Fighters & Audioslave would be fantastic. I also like the idea of Velvet Revolver...luv Scott Weiland. Yah, things really are up in the air from the sounds of it. I think opening for INXS would be pretty hokey, personally, so it would be very cool if they veered off that path.
