Opening for INXS. The Lovehammers

I see a lot of fans here who are in Missouri or nearby! I will be going to the family arena on Feb 1 too! I simply can not wait!! Will you all be at the arena when tickets go on sale? Wonder how long the line will be.... hmmm looks like we have a mini Missouri MC fan club here . A big hello to all of you!

I will only follow where Marty goes! So if he doesn't open for INXS, I won't be there! Nothing against INXS, my loyalty stands with the LuvHammers and indeed Marty Casey.

Until I see Marty Casey's name, I won't be going. jmo

Yeah I agree with that a bit. I just think INXS are afraid of change and they just want to stick with the kind of music they've been making for years, I guess coz its safe? Thats why they chose JD he's the safe choice. But anyway I'm happy for them and for Marty, coz now he can go do his own thing and doesnt have to worry about meeting INXS half way (like he had to for the show). So overall, I think the right decision was made, and they never told Marty that he wasn't right for INXS

I kind of feel the same way....I know initially Marty said he would be opening for INXS...but since then, he has been talking with the big guns in LA...and may be considering all his options....I think we will know soon....

I WILL go to see Marty/Lovehammers open or headline....but haven't really been convinced he is definitely opening for INXS yet...so I totally understand those that are not fully convinced he is the opening act on all the cities listed thus far on the INXS site....and I don't see Boston or CT listed on ticketmaster yet...and the venues themselves don't have INXS on their website schedules of events...soooo...not much info yet to go on....

I trust in our wonderful webmasters here to feed us any info on tours.....as soon as they know about it and deem it is "official"....

Patience may be a virtue...bit it ain't one of mine!! I hope decisions get made soon, contracts signed, and all the legal stuff gets done...so Marty/Lovehammers can get on with making music!!

Cindy & I will let you know when we know. We've not received an "official" word of anything.

I won't bank on anything until the artists have signed all paperwork & contracts for a binding agreement to make it official.

w/ a band bigger than INXS (er, um more youthful)

I will buy my tickets based on where Marty is. I will be polite to whoever is there, but if Marty's not there, neither am I. I am missing the crazy conductor, so I am anxious to find out the final details!

I think he is being smart, however, and not jumping into anything without doing his homework thoroughly. It's cool that he can be such a creative artist, but still has a good, analytical business sense.

I HOPE LOVEHAMMERS DO GET TO OPEN FOR INXS. I THINK THE MORE EXPOSURE THEY GET THE BETTER. MARTY'S PERFORMANCES ON ROCKSTAR SHOW GAVE THEM THE JUMPSTART THEY NEEDED. I'M SURE THEY ARE CAREFULLY LOOKING AT ALL THEIR OPTIONS. I TRUST THAT WE'LL BEING SEEING A LOT OF THEM REGARDLESS OF WHAT THEIR NEXT MOVE IS. I WILL SUPPORT THEM WHEREVER THEY GO.

It has just been confirmed at INXS website.......Marty and the LoveHammers will be on tour with them......YES!!!!!
