Of course my best friend is an art teacher at my school, but they won't let him wear even his stud. Wow, that's pretty restrictive. My daughter's old orchestra teacher had a pierced nose for goodness sakes!
Maybe the difference is that I live in a hedonistic pocket of liberalism in the Midwest (Madison, WI).

Y'all may want to hold off on the tattoo until the CD comes out. A little birdy told me that the logo may be a bit different. Thanks for the scoop. I LOVE THE ORIGINAL!!! But am sure I will like it. Anything for LH. ;D

I'm assuming a tattoo, not an earring ...hmmm...have you thought of the back of your neck? That's usually a good place from my perspective, as long as it's relatively small that is.

"And I'm stuck here in the blasted bible belt" Ayesa, that made me laugh. My sister is stuck in Bible Belt too. She sends me regular emails with funny things written on community notice boards/car bumpers. We always laugh when people have bumper stickers promoting Jesus and the NRA on the same car -- and the dashboard is littered with beer cans. Whadda country! Keep rockin' babe -- you'll live thru it and have great stories to tell!

On women I would have to say the lower back designs are really beautiful (at least on some women). But I'm with you Stiletto, I am definetly planning on the armband on the bicep. I don't think theres any tatoo sexier than the armband around the bicep. It looks good on both men and women. ;D Maybe that irish clover you are considering would be nice on the upper left chest area, as if on your heart. Just a thought. Ya know, for a LoveHammers tatoo, a heart with a hammer behind it or thru it could be pretty cool if drawn right. Sharon

Well, here it is Hammerheads. Decided to go with the first original. I doesnt matter to me if they change it, because its not as much to promote the band as it is a symbol of how this whole experience has changed my life. Sorry pic is so big, I took it myself half an hour after it was done and I suck at this stuff. Rock On!!

It only stung a little. I actually agree with Marty when he said it was relaxing or soothing (not sure his exact words). Of course I have dealt with pain quite a bit in the last several years, so maybe I just have a higher tolerance. The tat artist said that it is a very sensitive spot and to be ready for the pain. He even told me we could take a break if I needed it, but it was done so fast (10-15 minutes) that it was done before I knew it. Beforehand, I had this huge grin on my face and the artist said "you look pretty happy" and I just kept telling him I was so freaking excited. They asked what the letters meant so of course I explained what they were all about etc. and the receptionist said they sounded so cool that she was going to go out and buy the cd because she liked to listen to the new stuff (new haha) coming onto the music scene. Gosh!! What I have to do to sell a cd!! lol

I love it too, and can't imagine how anyone could think that simple logo could be improved. It's magnificent as is!! And so are our guys! They can change stuff later, we are trying to catch up here with their past 15 years, sheesh, give us a little time to get our feet wet! A big [glow=red,2,300] Lh[/glow] fan..
