I live exactly 22 miles from Walnut Creek. I live in Pinole, CA but I work in San Francisco which is also maybe 22 miles from Walnut Creek. I don't know if we will be driving or taking Bart yet. My friend that is going with me is my roommate and we commute to work on Bart so I'm thinking we may drive from the Bart station to the venue. But we have not talked about any of that yet.

Hey Kes and everyone going to this concert....you guys are SOOOOO lucky!!! I was born and raised in Walnut Creek, but now live in Pennsylvania. I will be visiting my mom in Walnut Creek but just for Christmas. I have to return to work on Dec 27th so I will NOT be able to see the LH play in my hometown!!! This makes me very sad, but I am going to see Marty in Toronto this weekend and it will help make up for missing him in California. ARF is a charity I support so you are helping a good charity. I hope you guys have a great time...I will be there in spirit anyway....give the guys a hug from me if you can!!! Enjoy!!!

I live a hour or so away and have never been to walnut creek. Is it a large venue yak? anyone know if cameras are allowed? It doesnt say no cams on the tixs...

I have not been to this theatre before, it is fairly new I think. I will be there (Walnut Creek) next week so I will try and go there and find out. I will not be near a computer while in Walnut Creek but I will call someone to post any info I have, or I could call you? PM me your phone number if you want...kes, where do you live? I have not lived in the Bay Area since 1981, but I visit my mom several times a year. BTW, did you go to Chicago/HammerJam and if so, did we meet? If we did, my apologies for forgetting I met so many people that weekend!

Hey Mellie, I was standing in the front row dancing at Oakland also! we got out of our farther back seats and ran up front and pretended those empty seats were ours, cause the people were not there yet who only wanted to see inxs, so we had a blast!

I'm in! Everybody sound off.
I called ARF today to get more show details, but they said they don't have any? I wanted to know how the show is scheduled - because the website just lists several artists individually. Kinda of confusing to me. I also wanted to know how long LH's were going to play, but no luck getting an answer on that either. Oh well, it's a fundraiser so I guess it's just play it by ear. All I know is that I hope they get to play for a looooong time. I forgot to ask about cameras. Did anyone call and ask that question yet?

Starcrossed - I know how you feel. I wish I could have gone to the Viper Room show last year.
Kes - Nope, no idea who's playing in what order. Did you notice they added a comedian?
