I followed the link on the home page but cannot find anything on the site www.cbgb.com/ about the gig. Anyone find it?

Sure! I got mine...it's only $15.24 total! what a bargain!!
Interestingly, Neal (Rockstar)'s band is opening and it sounds like other acts are TBA! Hmmm...

Ok everyone, I am staying at a student/youth hostel a few blocks north of CB's. Its hard to describe how small this place is, its just a hole in the wall. LITERALLY........ this will be like the LH are playing a private party......its that intimate and the stage is low to the ground.

Here's a link to photos from CBGB's ... including Blondie, the Ramones, the Plasmatics (with the one-of-a-kind Wendy O), John Cale, the Police. This place kicks serious butt. And you can see in one of the Ramones' photos how small and intimate it is. www.cbgb.com/shrine/photos/photos_page.htm

Yeah, I was a total idiot. I lived three blocks from there for 14 years, and never got it together to go in ... I always thought, "I'll go next time." Did the same thing with the Bottom Line during Bruce's early years, and now that club is gone, despite Bruce's efforts to save it. The same is true for the club where Dylan got his start. So the venues change, but the scene is still alive and well. I went to another small east Village club on New Year's Eve a couple of years ago and Debbie Harry walked in. She's matured, but that mouth is still the same!
