These reviews really upset me. All I listened to, before getting turned on ;D to Marty through RS, was country and classic rock. :)I have been so totally taken in by the Lovehammers music that even I can't believe it myself. There's something about the Lovehammers that just sucks you in. They pulled me out of my settled little existance and back to exploring new things in life. The fact that they could do that couldn't have surprised anyone more than myself! The reviewers cynical attitude probably comes from ignorance. The fact that they don't recognize the longevity of the Lovehammers' popularity just goes to show that they don't really have the proper knowledge to be presenting their opinions to the public. And that's my opinion!@!

What's with these jerk reviewers in Seattle? They drool all over INXS & JD and slam Marty and the Lovehammers!? I wrote Mr White with a detailed history of the Lovehammers' longevity thus far and also requested that he eat his words at some point in the future. Won't even bother with the 2nd dummy. Only those who have been Hammered can appreciate the joy and love that these four guys have brought into our lives and will continue to bring for a long, long time.
Big Brother, thanks for dropping by --- come back soon. There is lots of Marty love at this site.

Oooo, I'm getting so frustrated! What is going on with these fools? Please, has anyone seen a more positive review of the guys in concert or on the new CD? The only solace that I have is that critics usually don't know what people on the street enjoy. We just have to keep on spreading the love to those who haven't heard of the Lovehammers yet, and supporting them in every way we can. By the way, thanks for stopping by Big Brother, hope to hear from you again on this board.

I remember taking my kids to see a movie called "The Last Unicorn," where only people with special qualities could see the unicorn as such; ordinary people only saw a horse. I think the critics we are seeing here are horses (or a particular part of a horse!) and can't see what an extraordinary talent is in front of them, much like it would be to ask my dog to tell me who is good! Also, some people seem to think they are showing how discriminating they are when they put something down--they will see! Marty and the Lovehammers are making a different kind of music and are a different group of musicians and I think they will surprise a lot of the cynics. I say they eat their words dry-no condiments!

Brightside . . . I couldn't agree more. The Lovehammers are not just great music and great performers, they are a movement. There are a lot of artists out there that I love, but none have moved me to the extent that Marty did on Rockstar. And there is a lot of music out there that I love, but very little that I am able to listen to over and over again like I do with the Lovehammers. The Lovehammers are a phenomenon . . . and those of us who have it inside already are recognizing it in it's early stages. The scent of BIG is in the air and we can feel it coming.
And as far as that crazy review . . . he reminds me of a movie reviewer in my local paper . . . if that guy hates the movie I make a point to see it because I know I'm sure to love it. It's just one person's opinion, and that one person is looking at it from the perspective of mass market appeal and comparing it to what he thinks people want. What he doesn't realize is that people are tired of what other's think we want, and we are looking for MORE . . . and the Lovehammers have it.

I can't believe those reviews.
I wonder if they knew how many people bought a Lovehammer CD instead of the INXS CD.
I had no interest in buying INXS/Switch, but I bought MOMM right after RSINXS ended and I pre-ordered the new one as soon as it was available!

Bottom line: we'll all know who is right (him or us) about their commercial success very soon. I'm keeping his e-mail addy and I will write him again when they hit big! LOL. Thanks ginaing. I didn't receive an email yet Now I'm waiting for the Bad cop to let us know what his response was ;D (she says tapping her stiletto clad foot) Stiletto, after the last time that Bill White wrote to me, my last comments to him were to keep my e-mail addy and to write me in a few months with his opinion again. I told him I'd be very interested to hear from him to see if his opinion changes. I kept his e-mail and will certainly check in with him in a few months.

Shit, I just emailed him too Yes Bill, yet another Hammerhead emailing you about your little negative end to your short review of the show the other night. I am a 43 year old male who at this time last year was 60 lbs overweight and was basically falling apart physically. I owe my life to Marty Casey and the Lovehammers as they changed my life the second they came into it. Marty and his band have been around for almost 20 years now since Marty was 13. They do not have any staying power? The album that is to be released tomorrow on Epic records is going to be HUGE. They will be touring the world this year. I just wanted you to know that your opinion and comment were uncalled for. Try doing an eBay search for Marty Casey-Lovehammers, and see how much money people are willing to spend on this phenomenal band. Not since the Beatles or The Who has one band had 4 members with unique personalities and strong musical talent like the Lovehammers….. Scott Cameron Seattle, WA

I guess he got more than he bargained for . . . probably doesn't get that much email about his reviews. Little did he know when he messes with the Lovehammers --he's messing with a lot more than the 4 guys in the band!

Lets take it as a compliment. We ARE highly organized and that is one of the many, many reasons that LH will succeed. Any band that inspires this much loyalty with so little promotion is bound to (say it with me) take over the world!

These reviews are from Canada,
JD is from Canada.
That's all I need to know, if I was a JD fan I would be very weary of the Lovehammers. JD is in a band that might last another year or two at the most before 4 or 5 of these guys are in "old folk homes".
The Lovehammers will be with us for quite a long time!
