i just wanted to know how many of you are going to the In Store signing? I AM! Im soo exicited and was just wondering who else was going! Post onto this if you are!

Don't forget to go to Virigin to buy cd (another one, I know!) so you can get the wristbands that guarantee you a spot in line. Can't wait to see you all there!

From what Angie and I know, the wristband guarantees your place in line, and they are only giving out so many wristbands. From what I understand, if you don't have a wristband, they won't guarantee that you will get your cd signed.

The Virgin Megastore opens Saturday at 9:30am. The performance begins at 1pm.

The Virgin Megastore Marketing Manager provided me the following information:
1. You can begin arriving at the store as early as you want. The store opens at 9:30am. Once the sound crew are done with their set up, 20 people from the line at a time will go to the area where the performance will be. For the performance, the groups of 20 consist of with and without wristbands. Having a wristband for the performance does not matter, only after it.

2. Fans ONLY purchasing the CD at the Virgin Megastore will be given a wristband to wear. You can purchase the CD before the event and receive the wristband for Saturday’s event. The wristbands are on a first come first serve basis. At the time of writing this posting there is still quite a few left.

3. After the performance the fans with wristband fans will be first in line to get their CD signed. Once all the fans with wristbands have gone through the line, then fans without wristbands will go through and meet and greet the band. The goal is everyone gets to visit the band and they will do their best to meet it, however no guarntees for those without wristbands. At 4pm the LH are scheduled to arrive at the Chicago Theatre for their soundcheck.

4. Only ONE item per person: whether with or without a wristband, will be allowed for signing. You can bring an item with you for the signing. (Note: there is no guarantee that fans without a wristband will get their one item signed.)

5. Photos: photos ONLY of the band are allowed. Meaning you can take photos of them during the performance; however, you will not be able to pose with them such as standing arm and arm or one on one. However, if someone else wants to take a picture of you going through the line, that is allowed.

Pre: 5pm till 6:45pm
Post: begin to gather after the concert and band depart from the Chicago Theatre.

The Hard Rock Hotel is just around the corner, say 5 to 10min walk from the Chicago Theatre. Both the pre and post party will take at the same place.

Inside the hotel there is a bar called Base. According to Metromix.com on Saturday's it opens at 4pm and closes at 4am. Live music kick's off in the evenings. No admission charge. In addition to drinks, food can be purchased as well. According to Metromix, they have "two flat-screens airing VH-1", plus other adjective features. Let's hope Trees will air by then. That would be too cool.

Thanks for posting the pre and post gatherings. I won't get to Chicago until the evening of Feb3. See you all there...with or without a wristband. Hopefully, chk will be able to get one since she will be there Feb 1.

Can't make the store opening--I'm lucky to get a babysitter for the show. I see that the shows before Chicago are cancelled b/c JD is sick. I hope he will be o.k. for Chicago.

BTW--What time are the lovehammers supposed to go on in Chicago?
