MY FRIENDS METAL BAND PLAYED THERE IN 01 and I WENT FOR A VISIT AND HAD THE BEST TIME!! I HAVE TO GET TO VEGAS FOR THAT PRIVATE SHOW!!! GOD PLEASE SOMEONE HELP ME GET TICKETS!! ARRRGGGG |

CBGBs is legendary! I've always wanted to go - I'd even settle for one of their shirts! And they're closing their doors this year which really adds to me wanting to go to this concert.
Don't see the tickets on sale yet......

you & me both RB!! I would love to add NY to my list of shows but that would mean I have NO weekends home until March. DARN!! Oh well will rely on all the mc.org-ers for reports! The Vegas show however, got to go to that! I'm booking at the Hard Rock now either way! Don't book yet! It shows it as a private show where you have to enter to win tickets  |

CBGB's is THE legendary NYC rock club on the Bowery at the end of Bleecker Street. It's closing (actually, I thought it had closed already) after a long dispute with the landlord. All the biggest alt bands in NY either played or got their start there. I HAVE to go to this show! What are the details? I've signed up for the LH newsletter a few times and never get anything ...
And, Marty, if you a reading this (hahaha), CBGB's is right down the street from the only Louis Sullivan building in NY.

I went to the energy chews site and the "Up All Night Party" is not an exclusive Lovehammers event like I thought. It is a NASCAR party that the Lovehammers are performing at.
From what I saw there is 1 winner who will win a trip plus 4 tickets to the party.
Not saying there isn't other ways to get invited, but it might not be easy.

CBGBs omg that is THE home to rock n roll inNYC. It's a dive but a historic treasure! I too thought it had closed already, but baby the Hammers have to play there in the footsteps of Blondie, Talking Heads, The Ramones, The Police --everyone!!!

just called about the CBGB concert and the ticketweb. com guy said they are not yet listed on the CBGB schedule so no tickets on sale yet..........I also called CBGB for more info and no one is answering, however it is a bit early in the morning for the club staff I'm sure.....Anyone have any ideas who we can contact about CBGB/Lovehammers going on sale? ? I hear it is a very very small club....so intimacy with Marty is a given.....LOL |

I got that email and it doesn't say private for CBGB! I so want to go. I looked at CBGB's website and didn't see it listed, either.

I just got thru to the CBGB club. The guy that answered the phone said the only way to get tickets is thru ticketweb.com. He told me he did not think they would be going on sale today, but then he added..."keep checking"....I want to go SOOOOO bad cuz I am already going to be in NYC for the 2/13 concert and this would be an awesome way to end my little (and very expensive) 2-day trip to the Big Apple!!!!!! If anyone sees that the tickets are on sale (before I do) please let me know. I will post as soon as I find out myself.......

Unfortunately only legal residents of the United States can win tickets to the Vegas show or to win the car. I really hate that because Canada isn't around the world, we're right next door.
